“I don't just go to a restaurant for the food. Service and atmosphere can make her break a meal. In this case, I wanted to bring a fantastic meal. I came in by myself, and felt so comfortable ordering to go from the bartender, Will. he recommended 12 pounds filet mignon and I complemented this with a loaded baked potato. While waiting, he highly recommended the mob craft vanilla, wafer Porter. I usually do not drink, porters or spout, but he was right. This was a very move and mellow beer with distinct flavors of vanilla wafer. Brooke, is a very personable waitress who sent me home with extra bread. Both Brooke and Will enjoy their job and it shows in their conversation. I felt welcome coming in for a to go order and sitting at the bar. As for the food, Will was right. The fillet was very flavorful and tender. Loaded baked potato the perfect amount of toppings. Had I not had to drive 10 minutes home, I would have chosen the Tara Mazzu sundae for dessert. This restaurant exceeded my expectations.“

“My husband and I had recently dined out at The Farmstead for our anniversary. We both had the beef tenderloin dinners and they were outstanding as well as the coconut chicken curry soup I had. We arrived at the restaurant 4:45 pm and were seated right away. The service and the atmosphere was also outstanding. I think within a half hour after arriving the dining area was full so it must be a very popular place.“
