“1st time. Not disappointed. Bucket list changed to you betcha we’re coming back. It’s not always about the food. Dining with strangers, can be annoying. Not here. The bar and dining folks were of a polite, fun and energized style. Owner randomly picked our table and became the foundation of us wanting to,return. Had a great conversation. The servers need a higher measure. They all set the most pleasant tone haven’t seen in years. Wish I had been able to get here sooner. You will definitely find a menu item that fits your taste. “Absolutely amazing first experience. My wife and I had an early dinner there. We had the crab cakes and calamari ( today's daily appetizer special) as appetizer. Absolutely incredible. Great sauces and flavor combinations. Layers of flavor. We ordered the ribeye and the crusted flounder ( another special). The ribeye was juicy, depths of flavor, tender. Topped with sautéed mushrooms and haystack onions. Cooked to perfection. And the au jus was spectacular and tied everything together so well. Au gratin potatoes were a perfect pairing. Even the carrots made you say "wow". The flounder was light and had great flavors. Homemade honey Dijon tartar was a perfect match for the flounder. Oddly enough, the cucumber and tomato salad that topped the fish really tied it all together and made for one amazing bite. Even though we were stuffed, we left just enough room to have dessert.. As someone who is not a dessert fan, their homemade peach cobbler pastry with homemade cinnamon ice cream ( another special) was fantastic. Katie, our server was extremely kind and attentive and her input on dishes was very much appreciated. The fact that the servers get to try daily specials, you can watch the chefs prepare the meal if you sit at the "bar" by the kitchen, and the laughter coming from the kitchen, really iced the cake! Amazing”

The shop includes a gallery area with unique handmade items created by local artists. Another area is set up as a boutique with women’s clothing, handmade from a several countries purchase through fair trade, a shoe line and many accessories and jewelry. All handmade, artistic and cultural in fashion. And of course the upper level is layed out with vintage, re-purpose an upcycled items mixed with vintage and current artwork. “My partner and I were on an overnight to the Milwaukee area and stopped in here for breakfast. The atmosphere was very pleasant. The restaurant layout was open and airy. We were greeted and seated promptly, and coffee and water appeared before we even had a chance to ask for it. We ordered our meals, and to our surprise our food arrives within minutes, even on a busy weekend morning. The food was delicious, and the server brought us some sort of cinnamon cake that was also amazing.
We don't travel through that area often, but Maxim's is now our go-to spot!”

Obviously she was too engrossed in a regulars conversation. got up and left. Did we miss something? Certainly not service. The Phoenix across the street definitely wins. “I was intrigued by the building when I was dropping my kids off at sky zone and decided to give it a whirl I tried a blackberry lavender mocha and it was the best coffee I've had ever. t literally makes it in about 30 seconds and I went back today to redeem my free coffee, one of the owners happen to be there and let me peek inside and meet Frank the robot behind the magic. Getting to see the inner workings, the variety of drinks and fair pricing knowing I'm getting Stone Creek coffee just sealed the deal for me”
