Their coffee is smooth and flavorful, their Bloody Mary is top notch, and their beer selection is pleasantly satisfying. Their staff are down to earth, friendly and attentive. Their restaurant is always welcoming and clean. Food is consistently amazing. I highly recommend.“

“First time at Kountry Bar (I know I know - shameful!!!!) but the beer was ice cold, the atmosphere was amazing, the bartenders were friendly and personable but the burger - OMG the burger was f-ing fantastic. I had the ghost pepper blue burger and it was seriously the best burger I’ve had in…… well, I don’t know when. My husband had the tenderloin sandwich and also loved it. We will most definitely be back. Seriously - you need to visit this bar and grill. You will not regret your decision to stop by and treat yourself!!! 💪🏼“

“THEY HAVE USB CHARGING PORTS where most bars have a "coat rack" type thing and I have NEVER seen or ever heard of a bar w the sort. This bar is chill and cheap and respectful and underplayed since it's half a second out of the way but is MOST DEF worth the 30 second trip out of your way from the main bars in downtown little chute“

“Cool bar and cool experience. Had a good time here it was very crowded but that is due to an event just finishing across the street. Staff were nice and it was very clean. It has a really cool Christmas theme which is very unique I would visit again.“
“We visited friends in Freedom on a road trip. Ended up here for the Packers game. Such a relaxed but fun neighborhood spot! Friendly patrons and staff. Great drinks, good service...did I mention a real fun neighborhood spot! Not fancy, just good people and atmosphere.“

Maritime Bar still has legit potential—classic dive spot with cheap drinks, pool tables, darts, that gritty downtown Appleton feel, and it’s holding its own even after the old owner passed away (rip to the guy who kept it real and raw back in the day). Things got a little quiet for a while, but the new setup feels like it could ramp back up and become a go-to again.
What I really miss are the punk shows—this place used to be the spot for local punk and metal bands to go hard, like the Fox Valley’s mini CBGB’s. No other bar let that scene breathe the same way. And one of my favorite open mics was hosted there too—great energy, real crowd, always fun to jump in or just watch the chaos. Bring back more live music, punk nights, and those killer mics, and it’d be packed and electric every weekend. Right now it’s solid for a chill beer, games, or low-key hangs, but crank that old edge and it’d crush again. Hope it gets there soon—miss the good times.“

“Food and drinks were pretty good! It’s counter service (no server coming to the table) and with our group wanting to share plates, we weren’t able to split the tab. That’s the only thing I felt was a little difficult and why I am giving 4 stars. Other than that, I liked the ambiance and vibe!“
“What can we say about Bob's Inn? It has longevity and the name is important. There is a crowd that has been there since maybe they were born.... And then the oddlings that show up after 10pm if they are still open. Good selection except the rum. Bartenders are really fun. Just an overall place to go if you are not pushing for bar close.“

“During covid the whole place got a little makeover, Gym Peerenboom handed it down to his son and daughter in law and they are slowly modernizing but not too much! Definitely still a dive bar! No credit card machine but an atm is available! No food but you can order butches or Marty's or whatever else and bring it in! Pot lucks during certain events and games. Very big on the Brewers! Happy hour all day every day!“

“One of the best bars in town. Friendly people. Love the staff. Clean restrooms. Double Bubble Thursday from 9pm to 1am, never know where the night will take you... Never have gotten the hang of Thursdays. The jam crew from across the street at the Vaudette on Monday nights are loads of fun! My favorite place to end up... Or even start.“

“We were in town for the weekend looking for a place to watch Packer playoff game. Stopped at 3 or 4 places before this and were not feeling all that welcome. Walked into the Daily Pint and bam! Felt right at home! Can’t say enough about the bartender Cori and also DJ Rick. It was a ton of fun and we will def be back!!“

“Great eclectic bar. It has that old school feel with tin ceilings and all but has a modern crowd. Its a long bar that even has live music. Great in house PA system. Perfect size and it sounds great. The owner runs sound and knows how very well. Bartenders are very nice and quick. Killer location with a bumpy parking lot. But it fits all the cars to fill the bar. Drinks are stronger that normal but not over done. Great place. Great location. A must go“

“A legendary staple of downtown Appleton. You'll have a hopping good time if your looking to eat or drink. Their grill kicks ass, the wings are some of the best in the valley. Drink specials and one of the most rocking stages at mile. If you get a big beer in one of their Mondo mega mugs your guaranteed to have a FROGGING GOOD TIME. Big shout out to Sharron one of the coolest business owners in Appleton. Thanks for all the good times over the years.“

This is a good dive bar with a decent selection of beer and booze. The parking can be dicey when they are busy. They have a small outdoor garden for smokers. The bartenders are good, just don't get on their wrong side.“

“Oh, Club Tavern, where have you been all my life? I’ve lived in Menasha 35+ years, and I have never been to Club Tavern until tonight. This was hands down one of the best meals (blackened tuna) that I have ever had!“
“For a relatively small space, Player 2 packs in a ton of fun. The pinball machines are the driver of the entertainment, and there are so many to choose from with themes that range from music, to comics, to TV/Movies, they are a blast. The retro cabinets in the back are pretty worn, but they certainly fit the bill and are very reasonably priced. My family enjoys spending an hour or so in there when we are downtown, and it scratches our arcade-itch, for sure. Their Green Bay location is an upgraded experience, but again, for a small arcade bar on College Ave, this is a lot of fun.“
