We - two did not know the area and wanted food that was not franchise food.
We happened to be there Friday for fish fry and having in the past tried many many fish fries in Wisconsin this one was wonderful.

when busy just relax, they can only deal with what they are able to remember - how many things can you deal with at once. show respect always anywhere. they do a great job and are very good people. I would definetly recommend coming to four food/ drinks ect.
Oakstone is a family favorite!! Food is SO good, drinks are good, staff is friendly…cool and fun place for brunch, lunch, dinner, or drinks on a night out!

Customers have praised the reasonable prices and generous portions of dishes like Schnitzel, Cajun Citrus Salmon, Reuben, and Chicken Caesar Salad. The kitchen is a scratch kitchen, with even their salad dressings made from scratch. The venue can transform into a wonderful place for parties, banquets, weddings, and more. It is wheelchair accessible, and the staff provides excellent service with great attention to detail. Visitors have enjoyed their time, noting the friendly atmosphere, tasty food and drinks, and a spacious layout that accommodates families and little ones. Recently, a group of over 65 people enjoyed an informal reunion on the patio, appreciating the accommodating owners and staff. Despite being hidden in a business park setting close to the interstate in Cottage Grove, Oakstone Recreational is highly recommended for both dining and events.
