“I meant to leave this review a couple weeks ago and just popped up in my mind again, so I feel obligated to do this. My best friend and I had an amazing experience at the Outpost. The atmosphere is cozy, and our food was presented to us perfectly. Our fish was cooked to perfection!!!

From the waitstaff to the bartenders, they made you feel like they’ve known you for years. Incredibly friendly! We would give this place a 10 star review if it was possible! Nice work to the Friday night Outpost crew! We can’t wait to come back!!!“

“We - two did not know the area and wanted food that was not franchise food. We happened to be there Friday for fish fry and having in the past tried many many fish fries in Wisconsin this one was wonderful. We LOVED IT!“

“We live in Northern Wisconsin and ate here on a trip to visit family. The food was outstanding, the waitress Jacyln (not sure of spelling, sorry!) was very attentive and took care of us in a timely friendly fashion. “We Decided to try today while out on a motorcycle ride. We Arrived and walked in and were immediately greeted by staff. The atmosphere was nice and friendly. The staff was friendly. We ordered our drinks and food. We got the Prime Rib Sandwich with onion rings and the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with fries. Both of the sandwiches were amazing. Very tasty and juicy upon first bite to the Last bite with the right amount of meat and vegetables/mushrooms with it. The fries were just right...not to crispy. The onion rings were a tad overdone and really crispy. Overall the food and drinks were 10/10. We will be back.“

“Enjoyed the music and dancing. However, they need a good bartender to really make this place work. It was busy with only one woman behind the bar that seemed to be new to the profession. Clientele still seems to be a 50+ crowd and this has been the case for the last three businesses in this space. Parking lot was treacherous, bring your ice skates.“

“I stopped in there today as a out of towner and I never felt more welcomed. Rosie was a wonderful bartender and the bloodys were fantastic. I had my son with me and she instantly knew we were related and complemented him on his eyes and lashes. Great service and felt welcomed. Thanks Rosie and great Tat work on the sleeve“

“We’ve always loved dining at Mekong for all the food & events such as Cornhole Night on Thursdays. Our favorites were the Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Wings, Sticky Rice & Chicken Feet. We were there today for their re-opening after being closed due to new owners & operations. Service was a bit rough though we understand that today was the first day. We were seated in the banquet hall side. I think that was a barrier itself due to all the waiters mostly being on the resturant side. After waiting 20 minutes for someone to come take our orders, we waved down the owner and told him we were ready. He graciously took our order. It took another 15-20 minute for the food to come which was just fine but due to having been there for almost 40 minutes now, our kids were getting restless. With a new cook, like the resturant had mentioned in their posts, the Pad Thai does not taste the same. I loved their Pad Thai previously but I will have to give it another try when we dine in again. Overall, we will be back! I’m glad they are open again. With time & training, I think the restaurant will find its rhythm.“

I can't believe I've never wandered in here before, it's a fun little bar. If I went out more I could see it being a regular hangout spot. Not sure if we were sitting under a speaker or the volume was a bit high, but slightly louder than my tastes, then again I do like a quieter setting overall so that that how you will.“

“A Sad Return to What Used to Be a Great Spot I first visited the Green Lantern about 10 years ago when I moved to the area, and back then, the food was genuinely enjoyable—good enough that it stuck in my mind all these years. So when my wife and I decided to revisit recently, we were hopeful for a nostalgic and satisfying meal. Unfortunately, what we got was far from it. My wife asked about the fish before ordering and was told it was frozen and cooked—not a great start. She went with a salad instead, which arrived looking tired and withered, like it had been sitting out all day. Limp lettuce and watery dressing don’t exactly make for an appetizing experience. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, expecting at least a decent meal. What I got was a plate of disappointment. There was a pool of greasy brown fat dripping onto the plate, and when I took my first bite, I thought I had just hit a fatty patch. By the fifth bite, I realized—there was no meat, just chewy, rubbery fat slathered in BBQ sauce in an attempt to mask the poor quality. When I politely brought this to the waitress's attention, she relayed the message to the cook. The response? “Ribs are supposed to be fatty.” I’ve eaten hundreds of ribs in my life, and while a bit of marbling is expected, these were inedible. No meat, just fat. What was once a solid local spot has clearly lost its way. If you're looking for a place with quality food and pride in the kitchen, sadly, the Green Lantern is no longer it.“

“My wife and I got married in the rooftop here and had our reception in the Lounge before it was transformed into what it is now! We knew as soon as we sat down with the staff, this was the place we wanted. They made everything so easy. Our wedding really stood out and The Loft has a lot to do with that! The bartenders did an excellent job keeping up with our near 300 people! We still visit regular for drinks on the rooftop and their lounge events for date nights!“
