“The Mink Farm is a solid local watering hole that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It’s a comfortable, no-frills place to grab a drink, catch up with people you know, and relax for a while. The atmosphere is laid back, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, and it feels like a spot where regulars and newcomers alike are welcome.
It’s not trying to be trendy or over the top, which is part of the appeal. You can stop in after work, on a weekend night, or just when you want a quiet place to unwind. On some nights there’s live music or events, but even then it keeps a casual, neighborhood-bar feel rather than turning into a chaotic scene.
If you’re looking for a straightforward bar with good service, familiar faces, and a genuine local vibe, The Mink Farm fits the bill. It’s the kind of place that becomes part of the community simply by being consistent and comfortable“

“I meant to leave this review a couple weeks ago and just popped up in my mind again, so I feel obligated to do this. My best friend and I had an amazing experience at the Outpost. The atmosphere is cozy, and our food was presented to us perfectly. Our fish was cooked to perfection!!!
From the waitstaff to the bartenders, they made you feel like they’ve known you for years. Incredibly friendly! We would give this place a 10 star review if it was possible! Nice work to the Friday night Outpost crew! We can’t wait to come back!!!“

“We - two did not know the area and wanted food that was not franchise food. We happened to be there Friday for fish fry and having in the past tried many many fish fries in Wisconsin this one was wonderful. We LOVED IT!“

“We were there for the music but did order drinks and they were fairly priced (soda) and refreshing on the very hot day. My only complaint is they allow smoking on the patio so while we sat and were happy another group came in after, sat along the railing and chain smoked and it all blew our way. It was pretty crowded for the band so moving wasn't a strong option. I thought smoking at restaurants and bars was a thing of the past, I haven't been in the company of smokers while enjoying a show in many many years. Inside or outside.“

“We were looking for a light dinner and found this place in downtown Sun Prairie. Sat right down at the bar and had some nice sandwiches and craft beers on tap. The place was busy but our food arrived promptly and our bartender quickly attended to our drinks.“

“We were three and we had a blast at this mighty fine Norønn Brew Pub.“
“My wife and I got married in the rooftop here and had our reception in the Lounge before it was transformed into what it is now! We knew as soon as we sat down with the staff, this was the place we wanted. They made everything so easy. Our wedding really stood out and The Loft has a lot to do with that! The bartenders did an excellent job keeping up with our near 300 people! We still visit regular for drinks on the rooftop and their lounge events for date nights!“

“We live in Northern Wisconsin and ate here on a trip to visit family. The food was outstanding, the waitress Jacyln (not sure of spelling, sorry!) was very attentive and took care of us in a timely friendly fashion. The atmosphere is casual, which we like because we don't dress up much! We are so happy we found this place and will be sure to return next time we are in the area. OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND FOOD.“
