She gave my friend a nice discount on the regular cod meal so he was more than satisfied.Atmosphere is basically standard bar. It wasn't too loud and not super busy when we were there. “My husband and I came here after a recommendation when our cooking class was cancelled. This was our first time here and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt as though we were the only guests there. The service and food were exceptional. All of the staff were eloquently watching us to make sure we had the best service, it it was done in a manner we never knew they were watching to help us. “WOWWWW! As a non-vegan, I was definitely skeptical of this restaurant, but that was my mistake. This is one of the very best restaurants in all of Madison. It was so good that I went twice in one week because I couldn't stop thinking about how fantastic the food was! The service was excellent and Juan, the chef, made our experience super memorable. Make sure to get the chickpea paneer and the bao, they are both to die for! I'll be coming back (maybe again next week haha) and plan on taking all of my friends and family there to impress them. “super cute pizza restaurant in a literal home! it's a small cozy place with a unique menu. the server was soo with me tonight, she recommended the pork confit AND the goomba with bacon (unfortunately no ranch dipping but she also got me there). i loved that the pizza was thin crust but i do wish there was a dipping sauce bc the crust was a bit dry. the bacon was center cut and thick so it was heavy but tasty on the pizza. the app, pork confit, was sooo tender and juicy, very happy we went with this choice! we got a bottle of moscato to pair and that was also delicious. overall recommend this restaurant but would make a reservation bc it's a really small place“
“Me and my partner found Cordial after being referred here by some of our coworkers, and our experience was so amazing on our first visit that we came back here for the next four nights. The staff here is so welcoming, we feel like we are home no matter who is bartending. We have gotten to know all of them very well, and they treat us like family every time we come in. And the fact that they are very LGBT+ friendly is only an added bonus. If you're looking for a chill, low-key bar with the most welcoming staff you will ever meet then this is your place!“

“The Ohio Tavern is as close as you can get to an old school dive bar in Madison. They food is cooked right in the bar area, and is mostly Mexican food. The nachos were delicious and the street corn was sublime. Service was good as well. It can get quite busy, and is louder than most establishments due to the small size. They only take cash and do not have a phone. If you want to maximize your chance of getting a spot - hit it up at an off time. We were there at 3:30 pm on a Saturday (non game day) and there were plenty of seats. At least try it once!“
“I am an international student and live around the area. The Main Depot is a heritage bar. Its more than a bar, its a community of people of all ages. “Great local neighborhood bar. Best whiskey bar in Madison. Also a very good craft beer selection and great beers on tap. With October almost here I had to stop by Bill's bar to try his Oktoberfest beer on tap and wasn't disappointed. It was great and a good size mug (see pic attached). You can find some of the most unique beer and premium whiskey selections in Madison. Great to support locally owned Madison establishments like the Malt House. There is no food kitchen, but you can get food delivered. “We held our wedding reception at The Madison Club and we highly recommend it to other couples! We loved the classic, timeless, and memorable look and feel of the Club itself, central location downtown, and found it especially beneficial that they offered so many wedding services. From catering (cake included in our selected package), beverages, tables, chairs, linens, place settings, day-of getting ready spaces, and an on-site event coordinator. This was very important to us as we didn't want to have even more vendors to coordinate with, and the Club being a "one stop shop" was incredibly helpful in simplifying our planning. They have so many options to choose from so you can offer more classic wedding meals or something a little more adventurous (which we did and loved). The food is truly delicious! They also provide a list of vendors recommended by the Club and we were able to work with a few of them for our day. Alex, our event coordinator, was so responsive, patient, and accommodating throughout our planning process which entailed many emails, questions, and changes :) He was amazing to work with! “It's my local! We moved to Belleville August of 2021, and I adore this place. Was made welcome almost immediately. Great food, great people. I strongly suggest any of the burgers, the Reuben when it's 'in season' (starts at St Patrick's day, goes til they're tired of making it), Thursday night nachos, Wednesday s'ghetti. Biscuits and Gravy that can make a Southerner cry (happily)! They don't take cards, but there's an ATM in the corner. Lots of alcohol choices to boot.“

“I was visiting the Madison, WI area on business and wanted to visit a place to listen to some live Jazz. I located this bar on google. This is a small neighbor bar. I got there about 45 minutes before the band was scheduled to play. I was able to order some wings and onion rings for the pizza place two doors down and they delivered my food to me at the bar. By 8:00pm the band was setting up and the place was getting full. The bar tenders were getting really busy. The band played well. The service was great. The bar allowed me to run a tab with no cc on file. The locals kinda keep to themselves and I was ok with that. One couple ask if they could sit with me considering I had a table with four chairs setting along. They were friendly people. There were very few African American there i'm being one of them. Despite that I felt welcome and was treated well by the bar tenders. I would recommend visiting this place if you are in the area and looking for some live music to hear. :)“
“Solid choice for Italian food. Everything we ate was good. The pizza we had was tasty. Our pasta dishes were all good. We had the calamari for an appetizer, and it was kind of flavorless, but at least it didn't taste fishy. I think the breading could have used a bit more seasoning. The atmosphere is kind of fun, probably looks the same as it did in the 60s. Definitely the kind of place you can bring the whole family or a date.“

“I was surprised by this place. Based on name I imagined it was a Tejano bar with dancing but it is just a super chill neighborhood bar. Tigers are everywhere ? (prolly why the name). There were a few small tables with a jukebox playing old school music. We sat at the bar and bar tender came pretty quick and checked on us a few times. Old Fashioneds were pretty good and came quick. Overall we really liked this place and will come back. If you are looking for something rowdy - downtown Madison is better, but if looking for a super chill neighborhood bar this is a good choice.“

We ordered an IPA, a stout and the giant pretzel with the cheese sauce. The beers, tasty. The pretzel, delicious. The cheese sauce, home made and very very good. The service, stupendous! I'd recommend checking this place out! EDIT; we went a second time for dinner a few days later. One kid had the bacon and Bleu burger...loved it! Cooked perfectly! My wife had the Reuben and loved it! Corned beef cooked perfectly, sandwich not soggy and delicious. I had the beef stroganoff and I was wonderful - pasta cooked perfectly, tender beef and a very nicely prepared cream sauce.Whether it's a snack before shopping, or a dinner out with the fam, I recommend stopping here.“
