“Our experience there was not at all like I expected it to be with as many repeat customers that were there. I’d like to start out by saying that this was our first visit there. The “regulars” that we met were phenomenal! Kindest people we’ve met in a while! They raved about the meatloaf as it was an obvious choice for a lot of the customers there. Wish we would’ve ordered it. I believe I counted 9 plates of the meatloaf being served. Clearly a hit which is great! The restaurant was nice and clean. But the service today by our waitress was one of the worst I’ve experienced! I get it that the world we live in now days is nothing like it was 30- 40 years ago but I still expect good customer service. The 3 other customers we walked in with (who we were not with us) were offered water and drinks after the sat down while were never offered water or drinks. We were given a place mat, our silverware and the menus and we were almost immediately asked for our order. I had to ask for the water otherwise I don’t believe we would’ve gotten any. My order was given to me missing a few things and the young waitress completely dismissed it and us which had me having to ask the other waitress for it. Not sure if we rubbed our waitress the wrong way and she didn’t care for us but she made us feel unwanted and very uncomfortable. It’s unfortunate cause what we ordered to eat wasn’t bad. The “senior and or military discount” (not looking for a free meal here) was never offered to us which apparently is a staple there. We give the service by our waitress almost a 1 ⭐️. Please do better!“

​Ambiance & Reservations
My mom and I dined here on a Friday night to celebrate her friend Sarah, who bartends at the restaurant. Located inside SentryWorld, the space is splendid and very classy. Because the dining room and bar area are fairly small and intimate, reservations are definitely recommended! The only downside to the smaller space on a busy Friday night was the noise level—it was quite loud, making it a bit tough for us to hold a conversation while dining.

As a former server, I always pay attention to the flow of service, and our server was phenomenal! She was extremely well-versed in the menu, clearly had tried everything herself, and did a wonderful job explaining the dishes in detail. The drink menu is top-tier with a great selection of wines, craft beers, classy cocktails, and mocktails.
​Food Highlights & Execution
The menu is smaller and seasonal, having just transitioned over to their summer offerings.
​Appetizers: We started with the lox eggs and the pork belly. Having eaten at other upscale Sentry properties like Muse, this pork belly didn't impress me quite as much as others I've had, but it was okay.
​Entrees: My mom and I both ordered the 45-day aged 12 oz New York Strip cooked medium-well. My mom’s steak was cooked correctly and tasted delicious. Mine unfortunately came out overdone, which took away from that rich, dry-aged flavor. I didn't catch it until I was a quarter of the way into it, otherwise I would have mentioned it to our server.
​Sides & Pasta: The grilled asparagus side was by far the best part of the plate! The vegetable hash (a hybrid veggie mix with asparagus pieces and bacon) fell a little flat on flavor for me. However, the sweet pea gnocchi my mom got was absolutely delicious.
​Final Thoughts
Our bill came out to around $350, which is expected for Sentry's fine dining concepts. While a couple of the food elements were a bit hit-or-miss for the high price point, the service was outstanding, the drinks were great, and we still had a wonderful evening celebrating. Solid 4 stars!“
