“I visited the Deforest Starbucks on 8/16/23, while visiting a friend in Windsor. I searched for the nearest Starbucks and saw the low Yelp rating, but gave it try. I had excellent service. The staff was friendly cheerful and professional. My mocha and food was delicious.“
“This is my usual stop when traveling from MN to IN. First time in years that the food was great, buns were fresh, fries were hot. Asked for a #6 which on the menu showed a fish filet meal, got a 10 McNuggett instead, we were the only people in the restaurant ordering at the time, with that they didn't ask if we wanted any sauce with our nuggets. It was about 8:30 pm coming through. The two workers were cleaning the lobby/restaurant as if closing the restaurant, chairs were up, liquid on floor and table tops. Took the cashier about 5 minutes to take our order. We don't like to use the order screen, we like interacting with people.“

“They get very busy around the eating hours. So it's difficult to call ahead for an order to go. If you call when their not busy, they will take your call and you can order ahead of time. Remember they put Zippy sauce on the chicken sandwich. I ask for no sauce, It can get a little sloppy. Awesome sandwich though!“
“Top notch coffee shop! Very highly educated coffee professional. Learned a lot of interesting information about how coffee is produced. Found a coffee I actually enjoy without a ton of additives like sugar, cream, or the various chocolates and syrups.100% Recommend stopping in and trying one of their specialty brews!Parking: Tons of parking!Kid-friendliness: Of course! “I recently started going to Mercie’s because of their great lattes and top notch service. I just left Mercie’s moments ago and needed to express my gratitude. I unfortunately dropped my latte as I was exiting the store. I went back in and without hesitation they made me another latte and were more concerned that I was ok, ensuring I didn’t slip or fall in the parking lot. “I go to many coffee shops in my line of work and this one has been the best by far. Service was great, kind but not over baring. For food I ordered a pesto grilled cheese and a salted maple latte. Both were delicious, (cheese could have been melted more but thats really just a preference) and the coffee was perfect drinking temp. It was nice to not have to wait 10-15 minutes to drink it like at some places. I even went back and ordered a salted caramel cookie which was incredible. (better than Crumble). I literally never write reviews but after having such bad service at other places and now having such perfect service, I felt compelled to write one. Definitely will be back!“
“North Street is an actual gem. What's more to want with coffee, pastry, and beer all under one roof. Well - I do wish that Bloom offered more options similar to their Monroe street location. And I wish the coffee and pastry was open later into the evenings so I could have a pastry with my beer. But other than that the place is perfection! There's plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating in the warmer months. Parking may seem daunting but honestly there's always plenty of street parking not too far.“

And I’ve come here with my little one before.Anyway, the food, pastries are always delicious at Ancora.Their matcha honey latte is delicious.I’ve had their Hella Stella Sandwich obviously! “Cafe Latte with frothy milk art on top. It was and is a great drink. The food, the drinks, and the people who work there are great. Many compliments and no complaints. Maybe more poetry recitals during the future.Parking: Sometimes not so much parking available very close to Beans N Cream but public parking lot is close to The Cannery Square.Kid-friendliness: The play area is small but the business is not very physically large. It is nice to have a play area there. Maybe more plugins for people to use the free wifi there.“

“Ordered some coffee and muffins for me and my coworkers and they were so yummy! They didn’t have any cinnamon swirl muffins left but they gave us two bran muffins and one pistacho muffin which was so amazing of them. The bran muffins are not like your ordinary bran muffins. They are sweet and moist, kinda like banana bread!“
“Really delicious food and being vegetarian they have great options to choose from. There food is affordable and really like the space they have. Its easy take out or eat in even with smaller children or a group of friends. The owner is great and so is the staff!“

Coffee is good with variety of options available but not too many it becomes overwhelming - lots of options for tea drinkers as well!The food is amazing - highly recommend the Java Club as it was one of the best sandwiches i've had in a while - and in a market with ever increasing prices this place feels very fairly priced for what you get. Coupled with the fun atmosphere and art on the walls highly recommend checking this place out.Note that parking can be difficult - if busy times of the day parking across the street is much easier than hoping you can find a spot in the tiny parking lot“

“I usually get take out before work or on the weekends. Coffee can be really hit or miss. I get a mocha with almond milk and my experience today was bad. It tasted bitter and burnt instead of usually being pretty good. The brunch and bakery menu is excellent, and I've never had a complaint with the food I've had so far.I would love for the coffee to be more consistent, because I actually like this place quite a bit!“
“The lady said that she is 80 years old but she looks about 60 to me. She is super friendly and prepared a cup of ginseng tea with other herb to me, during the time she introduced ginseng products to me. There are many different kinds of ginseng products including completed root. I only brought 10 bags of 8 oz ginseng small root. Recommended“

“We arrived around noon. Counter service was friendly and they appeared to like their job. We had cold brew and it was flavorful and smooth. The food arrived quickly, even before I finished my half of the almond croissant, which was packed with flavor. Delicious layers and filling. My wife greatly enjoyed the veggie wrap with potatoes. She thought the ingredients were excellent and a well rounded taste. I found the bowl to be well cooked but was expecting more flavor, maybe some spices and cilantro would have paired well. The ingredients were fresh and well prepared. Overall a very enjoyable experience.“
“Great spot - good wifi and nice atmosphere, great coffee drinks! Kid and family friendly, there were cute kids in there just playing a little while their parents chatted and enjoyed coffee. Good cafe to get some work done, that is why we were there, just wanted a not-too-quiet spot.“
“What an adorable spot in deforest! I stopped on a sunny fall day and was able to sit outside on the front porch swing sipping my latte. It was so peaceful and enjoyable. There weren’t any tables inside when I visited, but it looks like they’ve added some in the pictures I’ve seen. He shop inside has so many cute, local goods and it was fun to browse while the staff prepped my coffee. I’ll definitely be back to read on their front porch when the weather warms back up!“
