Wow, what a treat! We stopped here without knowing much about the place, and it exceeded our expectations greatly. Our server was so accommodating to us and was beyond gracious. The food stood out in quality and price. It was delicious!! We will definitely stop here again.
Their food is absolutely delicious
The food was shockingly good. I got the special stuffed potato pancakes, and they were phenomenal. My partner got some fried eggs with hashbrowns, and they were cooked exactly as requested. Service was not perfect; when describing the special the server did not mention that it had ham in it. I try to be vegetarian, so the ham was an unwelcome surprise when the dish came out. DeGrand's Family Restaurant is a cozy local spot in a small Wisconsin town, offering a variety of dishes including a delicious Poached Egg breakfast and mouth-watering Poppyseed Torte for dessert. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere with friendly staff, and even caters to those with gluten sensitivities. They also serve handmade cheese curds that are a must-try, unlike any other frozen ones you may have had before. The restaurant is nice and clean with plenty of choices. Sandwiches and breakfast items come out quickly, though pizza or fried chicken may have a slightly longer wait, clearly noted on the menu. The wedding hall events were amazing, second to none. Several waitresses made sure customers were served coffee. The parking lot is super big, with tons of spots available even at their busiest.
