“Brought in friends to celebrate a birthday. Kim and her staff we amazing. We told her to create the menu for us and she brought us a beautiful menu. Everything was delicious and our guests got to take a bunch of leftovers home. The staff and service was fantastic and the cocktails Russ made were delicious. It was a great evening all around.“
“We love coming to Brazen and it's really our capstone dining experience when in the Dubuque / Galena area. The menu seems to be getting more extraordinary each time we visit, which is remarkable given the tremendous talent in the kitchen. There are so many crowd pleasing options on the menu but what really struck us this visit were the vegan options which is saying something since we recently came back from a trip to NYC which included a visit to 11 Madison Park where we enjoyed its vegan prix-fix.This visit I had the beet soup (amazing) and we both had the vegan butternut squash as our main - elegant, approachable and delectable. Subtle mastery of a dish that's straight forward but layered in complexity. For dessert, the vegan Swiss roll was truly a standout and should not be missed. The kids feasted on a generous, perfectly cooked and sliced NY strip which screamed welcome to the Midwest with an amazingly flavorful but not overwhelming horseradish cheese sauce and prodigious bunch of perfectly cooked fries. Lucky for the adults, we escaped with leftovers and so I am not unhappy about lunch tomorrow. On the beverage side, Brazen also really delights - the wines were thoughtfully selected and the cocktails were very well crafted. The immediate neighborhood has lots of fun after dinner options which is a great plus. The service at Brazen is also a treat as well. It's particularly remarkable in the post pandemic era that this restaurant delivers friendly, very knowledgeable and attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere that is suitable for foodies, diverse groups and families alike.Make the trip and visit if you are close by - you will be delighted by this standout dining experience.“
“Austin, Hannah and the gang always make me feel super welcome when I go in! It is definitely a place where you feel part of the Badger Brothers family. I always got the chai in whatever seasonal flavor they had and it was always great! If you don't go here while you are in town, you are missing out.“
“This place is . You have to go here when you come to Dubuque. The only reason they don't get a 5 star review for me is because they are really stingy with the cheese curds. Every time I go I only get 8 curds. If I'm paying $12 for an appetizer I'm going to need a little more food for what I'm spending. Service is always the best. The atmosphere is great too.“
“First time customer. Stopped for a Frappe (Badger Freeze) to break up our 5 hour drive. Fantastic customer service! Very friendly staff and provided some suggestions when we were indecisive. The drinks were very flavorful and provided in a timely manner! We will be sure to make this a stop on our next road trip in this area!“
“The ticket is a great place to catch sports and food in the old downtown district of platteville with an ambiance of good people there is never a bad time at the ticket. The service is quick and they go over and above to take care of you, just let them know and it will be done! The food here is amazing, I personally always get the BLT with fresh lettuce and tomatoes with crispy bacon on some lightly butter crispy toast! I will be recommending to all who come to platteville for sure and if you haven't stopped by yet make sure you do! Friendly staff, good food and awesome location! The only reason I gave 5 stars is bc I couldn't give more! Thank you for all you guys do and keep up the good work!“
“Visited about a week ago and The food was amazing, everything was juicy and flavorful, we ate so much our stomachs hurt till the next day. We got the mini sliders appetizers and they were so juicy would eat them 100 times again. For my meal I got the French onion soup and house salad they were both very good. My finance got the French dip and pot roast they were also really good. The only thing bad was our service was a little bad, our waiter didn't pay much attention to us and we waited 15 minutes for the bill. The overall experience was nice and the lighten was very romantic and dim 9/10!“
“The best gyro in the tri state area. I come here once every few months for the gyro. The woman behind the counter is friendly and knows what I want every time. Food comes out quick, hot, and fresh. The gyro meat is plentiful, I have to eat a few pieces with a fork before folding the pita together to eat. 5 stars!!“
“Really enjoyed the servers, atmosphere, and food here. The gentleman who showed us to our table was very friendly. We had the green beans for an appetizer, a salad, and pizza. All very goodVegetarian options: Several options for vegetarian dishes. Green beans, salad, pizza, and polenta“
“Awesome food and atmosphere. Comfortable chairs and plenty of elbow room. We ate around 6 and the service was spot on. Our waitress Kori was awesome. Our drinks were always full and the appetizers and food came quickly. Be sure to get some of the mozzarella bite appetizers they fall apart in your mouth they are so good. We had a variety of plates at our table and everything was delicious.Parking: Plenty of street parking. Read the back of the meter for pay times but after 5pm appears to be free.Kid-friendliness: Went here with our two kiddos and they loved it. Crayons and mats to draw on, pretty large kids menu with five options and good portions.“
“Absolutely horrible food. Illiterate chefs. Poor customer service. Tried to blame the over boiled mushy cauliflower on the paper container steaming it. I would eat dumpster food before eating here! Cauliflower would be great for seniors with no teeth.“
“I love this place! I take my 5 year old son fossil hunting just north of Dickeyville, and we always stop here before driving home to Middleton. The food is great, and the staff are friendly and go out of their way to ensure that Millie’s is a great place for parents who have small children with them. If I lived closer, I’d eat here every week.Kid-friendliness: This is the most child friendly restaurant I’ve ever been to!Wheelchair accessibility: The building is wheelchair accessible“
