“I found myself driving to Lacrosse Memorial day weekend and was a little of the beaten path when I found a hole in the wall bar open for lunch. I was greeted with hellos from the two employees that I saw. I was immediately asked what I wanted to drink and received a can of diet coke with a glass of ice, along with a menu. Seem to be a very neat and clean place to the extent of changing the grease in the fryer that day. I placed an order for a burger and fries, it came quickly and tasted great. The half a dozen other patrons seemed to be regular / locals and made me feel right at home. Sounded like the bar had new owners and they did a great job decorating and sounded like they have live music once in a while. I paid my tab and received some directions and got back on the road. If I find myself near Eastman WI again I will definitely stop in.“

“Food was wonderful. So glad we gave it a try. This place used to be amazing years ago and then we had a couple years it wasn’t too good. Our food tonight was great. We had a large amount of hand breaded onion haystack and cheese curds. We had meals of smoked ribs, ribeye, Asian salad, and fried cod. All meals were cooked well and delicious. We were excited to have the relish tray with the ham salad dip back as well. Bloody Mary was pretty good too.“

“My husband and I were visiting from out of town this past weekend and saw the rave reviews for Jones Black Angus. The food was most definitely delicious, but more importantly was the service we received from Sara. She was exceptionally friendly, genuine, and professional. We liked her so much, we couldn’t help but return the next evening for dinner, but that was only if we could request her as our server. Such an outstanding experience on both nights!!! And the chocolate cheesecake was the best we’ve ever had!“

“The food was average. The chicken was excellent would recommend that. I ordered the bread pudding and that would of been excellent too except the pecans they put on top were old and had a bad taste. Kinda ruined it. If the nuts are old toss them. The server was nice and polite but seemed in a hurry to move us along.“

“If you are passing through Prairie Du Chein i highly recommend you stop in. The food was fantastic and the owners are just wonderful. I had a perfect NY Strip steak with grilled green beans and some of the best Parmesan garlic fries. Seriously hands down very nice atmosphere clean and just relaxing.
