There is absolutely NO ambiance in this restaurant at all. Formica tables that wobble when U cut thru your steaks. But the food is fine...and reasonable. Their beer and pop R EXTREMELY REASONABLE!! I wanted Scallops, as I've had them their b4, but they're no longer on the menu. So I had fried shrimp. Got 6 of them. Nothing really special, but they were tasty. No seafoody smell or taste. Very sweet and tender. Had a HUGE baked potato with Ranch dressing. Their Ranch...
Food was wonderful. So glad we gave it a try. This place used to be amazing years ago and then we had a couple years it wasn’t too good. Our food tonight was great. We had a large amount of hand breaded onion haystack and cheese curds. We had meals of smoked ribs, ribeye, Asian salad, and fried cod. All meals were cooked well and delicious. We were excited to have the relish tray with the ham salad dip back as well. Bloody Mary was pretty good too.
The food is great if you’re looking for a burger that actually has some taste, they use locally raised beef. The portions are huge so either come hungry or be ready to take some food home.
