“Thank you to Bijou Bistro for catering our outdoor wedding this last weekend, we have nothing but great things to say! The food was delicious, it was displayed beautifully, there was plenty to go around, and our guests all raved. Chef Tony was a pleasure to work with, we highly recommend him.“
“When you stumble on one of the best local breakfast spots... You have to share!GREAT options for gluten free versions of their menu items - hint: Eggs Benedict was PHENOMENAL (had to actually compliment the chef on the hollandaise!)Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free breakfast options were some of the best we've seen, and for a small town feel eatery they were very familiar and able to recommend options and modifications that did not feel restrictive.“
“Husband and I were looking to celebrate Valentine's Day a day earlier to avoid long waits or a crowd on the day of. On a whim we stopped in at 5 pm, fully prepared to be told the restaurant was full. Pleasantly surprised when they were able to seat us immediately, even thoughtful enough to hold a table for us while I was trying to find a parking spot. Definitely recommend the Lion's mane "crab" cakes- I would come back just for this and this alone. I had the scallops which were a seasonal special and they did not disappoint. Husband had the pineapple pizza which was great also. Looking forward to coming back to try more!“
“I visited for the first time because I saw they had a special bloody mary for the month, the Kevin Bacon Bloody Mary. Absolutely loved it. Esp loved the bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Please add those to the full-time menu ? also love the dill pickle boneless wings. Our waitress was great. We will be back“
“We almost walked out before the appetizer came. I'm not sure if it was a bad night or short staff, either way the guest noticed. Not an ideal wait time. Bisque Chicken-Burnt-Black,Greasy Philly-Wife took two bites and her mouth was on fire. I enjoy jalapeños and my mouth was on fire. Both meals were comped. We were afraid to order something else as we had been there for a bit. I would consider going back, but not for awhile.“
“On a lazy Sunday afternoon, I found myself idly gazing out of my window at the patchy clouds drifting across the sky. The distant chirping of birds mixed with the faint hum of a lawnmower next door, creating a tranquil atmosphere that seemed to invite daydreaming. As I sipped my lukewarm cup of tea, I contemplated the subtle variations in the shades of green on the leaves of the potted plants on my windowsill. It was a moment of simple serenity, where the world's big concerns were momentarily forgotten in favor of the gentle, unassuming beauty of the everyday. I just LOVED this place!“
“Came in with a group on a Tuesday, which is apparently an experimental menu night. Had an amazing browned butter old-fashioned with cask strength, town branch bourbon. I also had one of the best smash burgers I’ve ever had in my life made with Wagyu beef and topped with burnt ends, also glazed with the bourbon. The food is phenomenal and it’s a really great atmosphere.“
“This is a great place to go! Warm and inviting staff, great service and the food is sooooo good. We loved the cheese curds to start with all kinds of dipping sauce choices. I ordered the Double Smash Burger which is a new favorite. My family loved the Guacamole Chicken Sandwich with tots and the Gyro Burger. This is a go-to spot for us in the future!“
“Shift manager wasn't familiar enough with the menu to say whether the chicken nuggets were any good. Turns out they were only like warm (temperature). The crinkle cut fries in the same package, however, were superb, which helped make up for the nuggets.“
“Our waitress was fantastic & recommended the spicy ranch with the pickle cheese curds which was so good & the Philly calzone was delish & no joke was GIANT! My husband & I could've definitely split one, but we both had half a calzone left for lunch the next day. Great experience & we will definitely be back for another huge calzone!“
“Ray's Place is iconic in the Eau Claire Water Street area. It's famous for it's roast beef and ham sandwiches. If you're in the area, swing down to Water Street and stop by for a roast beef sandwich and a frosted mug of beer!“
