This is my second time trying this restaurant and I have to say, the food and service are fantastic. It’s such a convenient stop if you tend to travel just over the Wisco/Illini border frequently. The prices are good and I have no complaints about the food. I’d definitely recommend the pancakes and their coffee is delicious as well. Quick service, genuinely friendly waitresses.. can’t say enough good things about this place.
If you drive anything nicer then a Semi, American built truck or cross over this last remaining true greasey spoon trucker stop is not for you. The staff was amazing this day working like a well oiled machine we had many waitresses checking in on or table. I had the 18 wheeler Burger. She's a Bute 18oz of delicious ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, Heinz 57, mustard homemade fluffy, flakey, tastey bun. Very kind staff always checking on you in a timely manner. We just got breakfast but it was delicious and the country fried steak was huge!! The locals were super nice when we were a bit lost as well.
