A special place for Door County that any neighborhood would be lucky to have. There is obvious talent in both the front and back of the house that ties together seamlessly to make a really special experience. This was one of the more memorable meals we have had in recent memory. We are excited to return!
Please let me call out the very helpful and friendly staff! Wine recommendations were on point!!
Unfortunately for the wait tonight (yes labor day weekend) and the food as it was, gotta take the rating down. For me, because of the wait or the food you got? Not entirely sure!
I would have approached this rating differently if I didnt hear from my wife that in general you need to book months in advance, and when you try, tables/reservations sell out in 5min??? Letting...read full review

Amazing 5 star food. Great quality ingredients and tasty modern Mexican flavors. Love the adaptation to using local ingredients. Wasn’t expecting whitefish tacos or WI-raised salmon but both were super tasty! Tiny restaurant with 16 table seats and about 8 more at the bar. Hard to get reservations but, if you do, feels an honor to partake in some small scale, fresh cooking.

The experience is top notch from beginning to end, from the way you’re welcomed to the flow of the evening. The wine list is outstanding, featuring some rare Chilean wines. Specific dishes like the winter set menu and the taco dish create culinary moments that set a new bar. Reservations are highly recommended and get snatched up quick. This is a happy place and a gem, making it one of the more memorable meals in recent memory.
