I haven’t had authentic real polish food since the mid 1980’s. Having grown up with it and then find it at local festivals you think wow this isn’t like I remember. Well your food hit the memories bank right down to the seasonings. The beet soup with beef dumplings was soooo delicious. And I haven’t eaten beets in 40 years. These pierogis are an absolute masterpiece, they are the best thing I have ever eaten in my entire life. I have thought about these pierogis everyday since my first visit, the caramelized onion and dill on top with sour cream is chefs kiss. I miss these pierogis everyday.
