“I’ve had a lot of inconsistent experiences at Panera, and I want to share both the highs and lows. I always order the same thing—mac and cheese—because it’s my favorite. Unfortunately, the quality isn’t always consistent. Sometimes, the texture is pasty, and the noodles are mushy, which can be disappointing, especially when I’ve driven 35 minutes from New Glarus to satisfy a craving.

HOWEVER, there’s one standout individual who has completely changed my experience: Kaden. He always remembers me, no matter how long it’s been between visits. He takes the time to ensure my food is prepared the right way, and I truly appreciate his dedication.

“We wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the One and Only for hosting an incredible elopement dinner for our family! Robin was fantastic in helping us plan details and menu selections ahead of time, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. We enjoyed the Deviled Eggs, Roasted Red Pepper Dish, and were delighted by the complimentary Roasted Green Bean Salad from the Chef. All three dishes were absolutely delicious!

For our main courses, we had the Stacked Burger, Scallops, Steak, and Hand Breaded Chicken Tenders. Each dish was beautifully plated and generously portioned. Our server and other staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed.

We had little ones in our party, and they were very accommodating by providing highchairs, a children’s menu, and kid-friendly cups. Additionally, we had a guest in a wheelchair, and the space was accessible for them, which was great.

“You know the food is going to be delicious, when you hear the pressure cooker releasing steam in the kitchen. And the items we ordered did not disappoint.

We ordered Ngoethuk, Mothuk, Tingmo, and the famed butter tea. Ngoethuk (chow mein) comes with a side of delicious broth. The hearty Mothuk (dumplings in a soup) warms the soul. The spice levels are adjustable for all items.

Although savory, we saved the butter tea and the Tingmo (rolled steamed bread) for “dessert”.

The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, yet welcoming. It feels like I am at my friend’s house and their parents are feeding us.

We have been there twice now and always look forward to going back to try out their other menu items.“

The sweet bbq sauce taste is strong a little too sweet for me since there was pineapples on it too but I would order again! The tots were surprisingly super good! “Chebs Hut in three ( 3 ) blunts. White Widow - all the flavors and textures especially with garlic bread, just an amazing sandwich! Magic Mushroom - yo, portobello and Asian flavors on that garlic bread, hell yeah!! Dank - pizza sub. Perfect cheese n pepperoni, lots but so yummy and perfect! Walked in and waited for 15 minutes, got to our table and started destroying our free bread and salad (get at least 1 salad to help balance the demonic amount of delicious carbs you’re gonna be ingesting).

We got shrimp alfredo, chicken alfredo, and shrimp carbonara. The carbonara is my personal preference as it’s more creamy compared to alfredo but they’re all pretty good.

I will say the staff here are super nice and they really made the experience way better. Asking lots of questions and always following up for more bread, salad, more bread, water, drinks, and more bread.“

“My wife and I traveled to Madison this week and were looking for a good pizza to have delivered to our hotel. As someone who travels a lot and is a HUGE pizza person. I can honestly say this pizza was great, which is really tough to say for a pizza that’s been delivered. A healthy amount of cheese, tasty sauce, well cooked pizza with great crust. There are no tables at Carte to dine-in, but its not difficult to find a table elsewhere in the Union (Strada, the Rathskeller, the Terrace).“
