We held a bridal shower for 50 people in the Cobalt Lounge a few weeks ago. I can't say enough good things about our experience. I originally booked the venue site unseen when they were closed for the winter season but Frank was great and easy to communicate with and gave a tour to the bride and her mom when they opened for the season in May. Closer to the shower Gabbi coordinated everything with me (menu, setup, etc) and was great and very fast to respond to all my questions....read full review

Gordy’s Surf Shack is a lakeside spot with a great outdoor deck just feet from the water. The casual restaurant offers quick meals and friendly service from young staff members. Visitors can enjoy good food with speedy service while taking in the beautiful waterfront views. The location is perfect for relaxing and dining by the lake. However, some recent experiences mentioned that the burgers, advertised as smash burgers, were actually frozen bubba burgers and not smashed as expected. There were also some issues with staff interaction, including a confusing shift change delay and a staff member from another location chatting during busy times. Despite these, the view and atmosphere remain appealing. One customer praised Marcos, a staff member, for exceptional service and personal attention, especially when handling a boat purchase inquiry on a Sunday. Overall, it is a nice place to visit, but experiences may vary.
