“We were a large group from out of town. 18 people. We reserved 2 hrs early from our planned Santa Cruise. The restaurant was extremely busy and waitress was swamped. But she was super polite, service was excellent. Food arrived quicker then anticipated. Was warm and tasted good. Waitress knew we were all paying separate ( they couldn't do separate checks) but didn't add gratuity. Which was good because we tipped her well over the 20%. Definitely will go back. Just will do our reservation earlier to give us more time to enjoy our meal.“

Menu had good drinks but limited options and good food options and we got the baked fish which was good but very basic . These are only reasons o didn’t give 5 stars in category. “One of the best Friday fish fry’s I’ve ever had. The potatoe cakes were also super yummy! The dessert came with fresh whipped cream. Great waitress. I would defiantly go back.“

“I'm at Hogs nearly every Wednesday night for the Glenn Davis Blues jam. Have been for years. Feels like family. The blues jam is great, a variety of really excellent musicians drop by, sign up, and play some great music in the Blues Jam tradition (everyone gets a chance to play). No cover. Food is excellent, service is great. Oh yeah, and parking is free that time of night. Contrary to some posts here, I've never seen any kind of altercation, aside from a "musician" that outright sucked and got bent out of shape at the band leader when told to come back when he learned to play or at least accept guidance. The other band members handled that, peacefully. We welcome all musicians that have basic skills, as long as they can accept guidance (best way to learn). They allow me to play :). Worst I've ever seen on a Wednesday night is a couple people falling down drunk. They got helped out, and a ride home. I can't speak for Friday or Saturday night, or possible out of control Bachlerette parties, haven't been there.😁“

I really would’ve appreciated being notified of the autogratuity, i assume from being in a group of 6. I didn’t see a sign anywhere I compeltley understand why auto gratuity exists I just wish I was aware so I could’ve accounted that into the total price and budget.“
