“Stopped by for lunch while on a trip to Sturgeon Bay and this place was so good! I have to eat gluten free so I ordered the BLT on gluten free bread and it was delicious. Also ordered their spicy chai which was equally delicious. We picked up a few of their to-go soups to enjoy at home. “A pleasantly eccentric and elegant local coffee and cafe that is a must-go-to if you are in the Algoma area. Pleasant, hospitable, and knowledgable staff. Not the largest establishment in town, but it does boast fairly adequate seating in a couple of different settings. If you happen to come when busy, it is worth the wait for a seat. In the warmer weather, outside seating becomes a welcome addition. The front area gives a very nice and warm view of the area street via plenty of windows. The coffee and food are excellent. After the wine venues, Tlazo is becoming our reason to take a nice jaunt towards the lakeshore!”

“Most amazing place! On a whim we stopped in the day before my daughter's wedding to ask if the could provide sandwiches. The sweetest little lady came through with excellent sandwiches. What would have cast me $275 at subway, was $76. The baked goods on display...wow! Affordable and delicious ?”

“The owners of Cloverleaf Farms make the most charming wreaths for my bird out of organic grasses and flowers that they grow on the farm. My bird loves eating them and using them as nesting material!”

“Absolutely amazing staff. My son was having a panic attack because there was a little butter on his waffles without any hesitation the waitress came back to the table and offered to have a new waffle made for him even though she didn't have to at all. This waitresses patients was absolutely amazing and helpful thank you so much. When I'm back in the area I will definitely be back. Much love to the morning glory by the bay for saving the day.”

“First timers yesterday for us. Order in front and take a seat, great idea. The food was fantastic! I had the farmer's omelet with a side of hollandaise and a cherry sangria, delish! Hubby had the Sicilian omelet and he loved every single bite. I could not finish my whole meal, but took it home and it was just as delicious the next day. ? and of course we ended with some bakery. “Absolutely a wonderful time! When you enter, you're greeted by a very friendly and welcoming staff. You have the opportunity to do a tasting from a well organized menu. There are plenty of options for all types of wines.Our winetenders were incredibly kind to my partner and I. Wanda and Kristin were absolutely the greatest. They treated us like we'd been friends for years. Kristin was even a bonus when giving our tour, my partner surprised me with an engagement ring he'd been working on! He knew he wanted to give it to me at von Stiehl, a winery I've talked about since the day we met.We are very grateful for the shared memories we have with the crew that keeps the winery such a great place. “Great place for food and drink. We had their pizza and it was amazing. The sauce had a nice flavor, they put a good amount of each topping on the pizza, and they had a great variety of topping to offer. I highly recommend this local eatery. You won’t regret it.”

“For a Belgian treat order the trippe (pronouced trip) with your eggs! Pancakes are huge! You won't leave hungry. While you wait for food (which isn't long) you can play "I spy, with my little eye" there are so many trinkets on the walls and windows. Maybe buy a set of rooster or cow salt & pepper shakers for your collection?Kid-friendliness: Lots of things to look at but don't let the kiddos touch, lots of fragile items.Wheelchair accessibility: The crowd during the week skews older, many guests with walkers and wheelchairs and get through doorways and aisles just fine.”

“Of all the great wineries and distilleries in the area, this we had to rate as mediocre. Nice view, friendly service. The beer did not wow us but it was good.And, a bit confusing to find. Signage is subtle and location in the building is slightly odd.”

“My wife and I had passed by Wickman's a few times and finally made a point of dropping in. The owner happened to be tending bar and was super friendly. They have multiple local micro brews on tap from all around Wisconsin. We tried several and all were great. The owner also happened to be smoking ribs as a future menu item and gave the whole bar samples to try, they were delicious. They also had live music that night with the singer / guitarist allowing another patron to join him on another guitar which was really cool and a lot of fun. All in all I would highly recommend dropping in whether it's for a morning coffee or a night time beer.”
