Ordered medium done for meat but pretty much raw. Maybe that was my fault and should of ordered med well? Liked the fries a lot as not too salty. Service was GREAT! Somehow my wallet came out of my pants pocket and must've fell on chair seat. When we'd left, server tried tracking us down but we were already on our way. I realized it wasn't on me when I got home so called. They had retrieved it and put it in a safe place until my son picked it up the next am. Honesty and integrity those workers have there. “Top notch restaurant. The food was outstanding. We had the loaded potato soup and our entrees were Angelina's Chicken and the Taste of Italy. Our food came out hot and was a pure joy to consume. I also had an Italian Margarita that was made perfectly. We ordered the 4 layer banana cake that was so decadent that we only ate half. We enjoyed it later that evening. We were very fortunate to have a very attentive and informative waitress. We also had the privilege of meeting the owner. She was such a delight and checked on us several times. Highly recommend this small business and we will be back when we visit this area.“

We never had to request for a refill and she made sure we had everything we needed. She offered helpful suggestions, too. Children's menu was great with lots of options and the menu has lots of variety as well. I did get the Artichoke dip which was the best I've had. 10/10 and we'll stop again when we're in the area.“

They’ve stayed consistent with the taste and quality of their food, and the portions are always good. The food also comes out fast, which is a big plus. “Absolutely one of the best restaurants around! We started with the shrimp ceviche very pleased with the sizable portion, & alligator nuggets loved the breading on them. We also shared crawfish bisque super rich with chunks of crawfish. I shared the sesame salad with grouper- the grouper was cooked perfectly & the seafood lasagna… fantastic as well! Our whole party loved the food, we sat outside with a great view of the lake, and cocktails were great as well!“

“Let’s start with 5 stars***** We visited Tally’s Tap on Wednesday October 8, 2025. This was our first visit. We spoke to a man on the way in, and he recommended the BBQ Ribs which was the ‘Homemade Dinner’ special - his name was Stan (a once a week regular). Inside we were promptly seated, and it was busy, with a full parking lot. Mike was our great waiter, and we also met Chad (another super friendly and knowledgeable waiter). I ordered a full rack of ribs, with Mac and cheese, fresh green beans, and corn bread for $24 (I think). Stan and Chad were right - the ribs were super tender, great BBQ sauce. I shared them with my husband and daughter and we all felt they were absolutely outstanding. Corn bread was very tasty as was the Mac and cheese. My husband ordered a wrap with grilled portobello, and a cilantro sauce - he said it was good. My daughter ordered a salad, with fried chicken sliced on top, and substituted the menu dressing for the green goddess. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a lovely first visit, and we will be back! Thanks to the employees, and owners for making this such a great experience. By the way - I am very picky. I know good food because I worked in some great restaurants on the East Coast. It is tough to have me really love a meal - but you guys made that happen!“

“I had ate here tonight for the first time as we are from out of town. I am SO glad we found the 5 O’clock club. First, our server Melissa was amazing. Even though she was busy, she gave us the back story on the restaurant which made the experience that much better! How the OG Grandma Mary’s great grandson is now the chef, HOW COOL!! now for the food, I saw duck wings with a cherry sauce for an appetizer and immediately new I wanted to try them and I’m so glad I did. Probably a new favorite! Then I ordered salmon for dinner which was cooked perfectly and not to mention the French onion soup was to die for! We had 3 people at our table, everyone loved their food. One item I was pleasantly surprised with when I ordered the cheese bread I was expecting how you would get it from a larger chain, and I was pleasantly surprised to see something completely different. Really my biggest complaint was I was not hungry enough to eat more of it in one setting. I had to drive a truck and if I am passing through here again, I will definitely be ordering from here again.“

“My husband and I had dinner at Twisted Fire, Oconomowoc, WI on Thursday, June 17, 2022. It was fabulous! I ordered Truffle Fries, Chorizo Stuffed Dates wrapped in bacon & pipperada sauce = sooo delish! I have to go back and order these again! Out of this world amazing! I also ordered the Tuna Special which was grilled to perfection and came with baked small potatoes and baby broccoli tips all prepared just right. My Husband ordered the Italian Pizza with Breadsticks. He also raved about his choices. We want to give a shout out to our server Colton who was knowledgeable, and so fun! The whole night was worth every pretty penny spent there. We can’t wait to go back! This was my second time there and both times they didn’t disappoint. Kudos to you Twisted Fire for beautiful atmosphere and a ton of Gluten Free choices. The whole experience is worth going back again!“

“One of the better Chinese food options in lake country. They seem to use five spice and other flavorful seasonings. A lot of places around the area use way too much oil in their dishes but this place used a small amount and focused more on flavorful sauces instead of oily sauces. I would personally love the option of ordering online if that became available, however the woman who took my order over the phone was quick and everything was correct and ready on time. It’s a farther drive for me but i would rather drive the extra 10 min to china one in order to enjoy the meal more than other options I’ve tried in lake country. Will be back.“

“Tried this place today, Saturday around 12:30. The buffet is relatively small, only two islands and one is salad/dessert. The hot entrees I tried were all pretty good as far as buffets go. You can't beat it for $10.99! If you're hungry in the area give it a try!“
