“Had a cheeseburger and fries plus classic Bloody Mary which was pretty good Plate burger and fries came on was too small so juice from pickles kinda saturated the bun. Ordered medium done for meat but pretty much raw. Maybe that was my fault and should of ordered med well? Liked the fries a lot as not too salty. Service was GREAT! Somehow my wallet came out of my pants pocket and must've fell on chair seat. When we'd left, server tried tracking us down but we were already on our way. I realized it wasn't on me when I got home so called. They had retrieved it and put it in a safe place until my son picked it up the next am. Honesty and integrity those workers have there. “My 7 yo daughter and I stopped in today grab some lunch for the first time. Our server was Christina and she was simply amazing! We never had to request for a refill and she made sure we had everything we needed. She offered helpful suggestions, too. Children's menu was great with lots of options and the menu has lots of variety as well. I did get the Artichoke dip which was the best I've had. 10/10 and we'll stop again when we're in the area.“

“The food here was an absolute 5 stars. My husband and I ordered 6 tacos and a side of rice and beans. It was all excellent, including the delicious flavorful hot sauce they offered to us with our meal. Reason I give it four stars is mainly due to price. It was definitely a little pricey for what you’d expect to pay for food truck food, comparable to restaurant prices without the seating/service. But, the food was good enough to compensate. Recommend this place, just be cognizant of their prices.“

“The food was delicious. The atmosphere was ok. I like the colors busy they really pack the tables in and the blue led lights over the bar are not good if you are sensitive to led.

Our waitress was nice but she didn't do much. I needed a refill on water for over 1/2 the meal and didn't get one then we were shorted $10 on change. And she never came back to the table.

Even though she was busy, she gave us the back story on the restaurant which made the experience that much better! How the OG Grandma Mary’s great grandson is now the chef, HOW COOL!! now for the food, I saw duck wings with a cherry sauce for an appetizer and immediately new I wanted to try them and I’m so glad I did. Probably a new favorite! Then I ordered salmon for dinner which was cooked perfectly and not to mention the French onion soup was to die for! We had 3 people at our table, everyone loved their food. “The Crafty Cow is a fun spot for a quick bite. We ordered the Hot Honey Cheese Curds as an app, and had the True Grit Burger, Dill Dip Chicken sandwich, and the Nashville Hot Ramen. All items were fantastic. The curds had a Hot honey glaze that was delicious. The sandwiches were huge! The Dill dip was so flavorful. Burger was done right, with substantial toppings and crispy fries. The Ramen bowl was a unique twist, with a great flavor profile. Definitely a must visit in Oconomowoc!“

“Let’s start with 5 stars***** We visited Tally’s Tap on Wednesday October 8, 2025. This was our first visit. We spoke to a man on the way in, and he recommended the BBQ Ribs which was the ‘Homemade Dinner’ special - his name was Stan (a once a week regular). Inside we were promptly seated, and it was busy, with a full parking lot. Mike was our great waiter, and we also met Chad (another super friendly and knowledgeable waiter). I ordered a full rack of ribs, with Mac and cheese, fresh green beans, and corn bread for $24 (I think). Stan and Chad were right - the ribs were super tender, great BBQ sauce. I shared them with my husband and daughter and we all felt they were absolutely outstanding. Corn bread was very tasty as was the Mac and cheese. My husband ordered a wrap with grilled portobello, and a cilantro sauce - he said it was good. My daughter ordered a salad, with fried chicken sliced on top, and substituted the menu dressing for the green goddess. Everyone enjoyed their food. It was a lovely first visit, and we will be back! Thanks to the employees, and owners for making this such a great experience. By the way - I am very picky. I know good food because I worked in some great restaurants on the East Coast. It is tough to have me really love a meal - but you guys made that happen!“

“Tried this place today, Saturday around 12:30. The buffet is relatively small, only two islands and one is salad/dessert. The hot entrees I tried were all pretty good as far as buffets go. You can't beat it for $10.99! If you're hungry in the area give it a try!“

“There are 2 young girls working today, standing in view of customers, eating breadsticks, drinking and using cell phones. When a customer walks up to the counter, they are giving them food, plates, silverware, with unclean hands. I don't see this kind of thing going on when the manager is here.“

“One of the better Chinese food options in lake country. They seem to use five spice and other flavorful seasonings. A lot of places around the area use way too much oil in their dishes but this place used a small amount and focused more on flavorful sauces instead of oily sauces. I would personally love the option of ordering online if that became available, however the woman who took my order over the phone was quick and everything was correct and ready on time. It’s a farther drive for me but i would rather drive the extra 10 min to china one in order to enjoy the meal more than other options I’ve tried in lake country. Will be back.“

“My husband and I had dinner at Twisted Fire, Oconomowoc, WI on Thursday, June 17, 2022. It was fabulous! I ordered Truffle Fries, Chorizo Stuffed Dates wrapped in bacon & pipperada sauce = sooo delish! I have to go back and order these again! Out of this world amazing! I also ordered the Tuna Special which was grilled to perfection and came with baked small potatoes and baby broccoli tips all prepared just right. My Husband ordered the Italian Pizza with Breadsticks. He also raved about his choices. We want to give a shout out to our server Colton who was knowledgeable, and so fun! The whole night was worth every pretty penny spent there. We can’t wait to go back! This was my second time there and both times they didn’t disappoint. Kudos to you Twisted Fire for beautiful atmosphere and a ton of Gluten Free choices. The whole experience is worth going back again!“
