“I want to begin by saying that we love this place. BUT, the service and food were just horrible. My husband's wings were good but my nachos were terrible. The lack of beef was covered up with lettuce and triple helping of sour cream. I left hungry. We usually stay for more than 1 drink, but I had to get out of there due to a very miserable child screaming for its mother to pay attention to her. Just an overall unpleasant experience.“

“I visit Johnsburg 1-2 times per year and I always work it into my schedule to stop in for a beer which turns into several. Friendly regulars and bartenders. Random people usually give me money to request songs on the jukebox for them which is pretty cool.“

“My significant other and I sure had a blast playing bowling. The bar located right inside sure makes it great. The drinks are phenomenal and I cannot wait to go back for a rematch on the game but more specifically for the drinks. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere was great. “Great place in downtown Lake Geneva! As someone who is not a big beer drinker, I appreciate the self-serve, pay-by-the-ounce setup that allows you to taste only as much as you want without being wasteful. I ate the turkey panini and it was so good our group kept talking about it several days later. I live out-of-state but will definitely return whenever I visit the Lake Geneva area again!“

“Just dropped by for some lunch for the first time and had their famous beef sandwich. By far one of the best beef sandwiches I've had in a long time. Maybe even better than some I've had in Chicago. Everyone is very friendly and you can see they care about their location and the people they serve. Thank you for the amazing lunch and I'll definitely be coming back for more.“

“The BEST fish fry in the area. A hidden gem. Tracy's potato pancakes are the star but the walleye, cole slaw, and rye bread are great as well. Lots of friendly people around the bar too, which Penny ran beautifully. Get yourself in here.“
“Went to attend a two day concert event there. Was greeted by the Sargent of Arms and later on by the VP. Great group of bikers. The lodge is very big. The bar is huge, with plenty of seating at and around it. Great food, the smell will definitely hook ya to get a nibbler. Nice size stage and dance floor. Very nice lay out. Never been in there, until this event came up. I would most definitely go back there again. Great people and welcoming. Good times and fun. Give it a whirl, and check it out... Don't think you'll be disappointed by any means. Good show guys ?hope to see ya again. ?✌️“

“We ate at the BratHaus on Tuesday for lunch. The food and service was excellent and the owner, Jerry, was kind enough to listen to stories of my childhood, working in the hardware store that my great grandfather started back in the early 1900s. Was lucky enough to work for my grandpa there while in middle school. Great to see some of the original things that have been kept. We will be back next time we visit.“

“Nice patio overlooking beautiful green golf course. A few tables. Lots of colorful flowers.Good cheese curds. Grilled chicken sandwiches were delicious. Moist big piece of chicken. “I have been going out to the bars for almost 10 years and Thumbs Up has always been the best in Lake Geneva. Sophia behind the bar serves great (and strong) drinks! She can brighten anyone's day! Definitely a 5 star manager :) If you ever wanna have a great time with some amazing Bartenders head to Thumbs!“
