“Hazel’s Diner Tarot and High Tea April 2024 My daughter and I attended “Tarot and High Tea” at Hazel’s Diner and enjoyed THE BEST tasting food of any High Tea we’ve ever been to. All of the finger sandwiches are on their homemade breads. We especially enjoyed the roast beef, and the turkey. From the sweet things on the tea tower our mutual favorite was the lemon custard filled croissant. There were plenty of flavored tea selections for every palate. And what a fun addition to have a tarot card reading! We love High Tea and have been to: The Palm Court at both The Drake in Chicago and The Plaza in NYC, The Tea Room at Harrod’s in London, Tea at 1024 in Honolulu, HI, and High Tea at The Baker House in Lake Geneva. The tea tower of food at Hazel’s High Tea beats all of them with their fresh, homemade food. You can taste the love and care that goes into every morsel. We will be back again and again!“

We've been coming for lunch the last 2 times, the portions are large, enough for 2 people to split...wasn't impressed with the Italian beef, it was on the dryer side. “It was a busy night tonight for sure. I waited two hours plus for my food to be delivered and it came cold and missing items. I called and talked to a very nice and patient manager I believe her name was Jen. We knew this was not the norm for service and food cause I’ve been ordering for 8 plus years. Long story short they made the order again and delivered the food a second time. I appreciate the the staff and their understanding. Thank you for your great service and food!“

“I had never been here but heard good things about the place. Finally got to try it a couple weeks ago. The atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The food was fantastic! I had a couple small concerns with the service, but as I said it was my first time here so I don't know what their normal is. The waitress was very attentive to start and quite friendly. After the food was delivered, she didn't stop by much. She did check once but later would have been nice for additional napkins or another drink but she didn't come around. Not sure if she was letting us enjoy our food or wasn't paying attention to us. The other concern I had is becoming more common everywhere BUT it would have been nice to be warned that there was an extra fee for using a credit card. It wasn't a ridiculous amount but it would have been nice to be told when I handed over my credit card because I could have used cash instead. Overall, a good experience and the menu has more items that sound pretty good! Might need to try it again!“

“I visited Avant Cycle Cafe recently, and I was pleasantly surprised! Their coffee is great, and the cafe's shared space with a bicycle center adds a unique twist. It's a cozy place with friendly staff, making it perfect for coffee lovers and cyclists. Definitely worth a visit for a unique experience!“

“Would give 5 stars but they instructed a new service fee for paying with credit cards. As a former resturaunt manager, I feel it is our part to ensure my employees were tipped well and the service charge reflected the tip making it look like we're not tipping 15-20%“

“A group from work all enjoyed their lunch meal choices from burgers, chicken sandwiches, and salads. As for the 'atmosphere', it was the noise level (wall mounted electric fans and music) that made holding a conversation across the table of six difficult. I still enjoyed the table views of the lake and its ample breezes through the screened windows. I look forward to future meal experiences at the Sand Bar.“

“The 3.7 Rating that I see, is NOT correct. I would give it 5 for for burgers and fries (only because I haven't tried everything on the menu...yet). The best burgers and fries! (Seriously!) burger was cooked medium well, just like we ordered. The fries were not too firm or too soft...perfect texture. Fries were lightly salted, and as a person who normally doesnt salt food, I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor it added. I dont know how they discovered the perfect amount of salt to use, but they did! We also treated ourselves to strawberry daquiries! Excellent meal, friendly service! Yum!!!!“

“Everyone knows Gino's pizza is killer. The Italian roast beef was way good. The Lake Geneva location had a great view of the lake. We were staying in the joining hotel so it was also it was very convenient. A 10% discount for hotel stay was a bonus.The service, however, was terrible. My friend waited 20min to get silverware, I had walk up to the bar for another beer, gave up on wanting ketchup...“

“Had dinner here with my friends, group of four. The service was absolutely great. Our waitress (really wish I knew her name) was awesome, very kind, and very attentive. My friend tipped her off that it was my birthday and she made sure to pull through with a happy birthday chant from the crew and even a candle to blow out, it was so sweet.The food was hot and so delicious. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal and our waitress, as well as the food runner, made sure we had everything we needed. The waitress, the runner, and even the manager checked in every few times they swung by.Super satisfying meal and amazing service!“
