First off, we have been patrons of Explorium Greendale for years. We LOVE their beverages/beer. Their food has really fallen off and we just do not go often anymore. It's such a bummer because it is such a great place in our community. My fish fry was ok, but my husbands fried cod had zero seasoning to the batter. It was literally just fried batter. He is not a tartar sauce user, but in order to get any flavor he needed sauce. Just sad. Our waiter was maybe the biggest dud...
We come here regularly. We always have great service and food. The beer is very tasty too! They have regular specials and events. It's a great place to watch the game, bar tenders are friendly. The staff seems to have infrequent turnover, the owners seem invested in their team and the community.
The apps, entrees, service were all good. There was a singer doing a mixture of christmas tunes and pop tunes. Pretty good. Can't give it five starts because in the end the Mall view from my table was unappealing. Yes I knew it was inside Southridge mall but did not think I'd be watching the shoppers come in and out.
