“Excellent place for affordable dinner food. Great value for money, friendly and comfortable. I got a Turkey Dinner which was $16 and came with an incredible amount of food (bread, soup, the dinner plate itself, a small Old Milwaukee beer, and an ice cream dessert). This restaurant also has a fairly extensive Friday Fish Fry menu if you're looking for that sort of thing. I can't speak to the quality of that though.“

“The owner and his son are usually there and always greet us. Waitstaff goes above and beyond, always moving fast. The food is awesome. Fast food places are more expensive then these guys. We order take out all the time as well. You will not find a cheaper restaurant in the area. I've been eating here multiple time a month for years and never had a issue. Great job you guys I tell everyone I know about this place.“

“I had an excellent first experience at Capitol Cafe. The hostess & servers were all very friendly & accommodating. I received my breakfast promptly & it was delicious! “So I came here bc every other place locally had small parking lots, I ordered an omelette that came with two pancakes and a side of hash browns. The browns were good and the omelette was great... but those pancakes... idk what they put in them or perhaps it's different from the south but WOW! I would actually come back just for that alone. The staff were nice, not super happy people but they do their job. Check this place out if you love pancakes and need a little more wiggle room to park.“

“You don't know this but I was just talking to Mia over at the Mr. Perkins Family Restaurant this morning about their longevity. She told me that Mr Perkins opened that restaurant in 1969 and I had just told my son sitting in the parking lot, the very small one, that I've been going there all my life I'm 50 years old. Lol they always serve the best food you need anything special like those good old pig feet chitling dinners you get that kind of stuff over there try them out I promise you you'll love it.“

“Came on a Sunday after noon looking for something to eat with my beautiful girlfriend. Food fed me well good portion sizes just had a small issue with seasoning the meat on our burgers was bland and the chicken strips were very soggy with oil over all was a good experience place was packed, so hard to judge but definitely more focus on seasoning and sauces for some of the burgers. Wish the owners a lot more years. Rather have this place than Chick-fil-A anyday“

“We arrived late on a Sunday morning. The restaurant was very busy. We were actually seated right away though. The menu was extensive. We decided to order breakfast. The food was served quickly. We had omelets with a pancake. The omelets were fresh and flavorful - and large. They were delicious! The pancake was fluffy and tasty. Our server was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and keeping our drinks full throughout the meal. It was a great experience!“
