“I came into Noodles & Company just before closing, fully expecting a rushed or limited experience but I was blown away by how warm, welcoming, and accommodating the staff was. Naraiah greeted me with a genuine smile and never made me feel like a burden, even though it was the end of a long shift.

My food was freshly made, perfectly cooked, and served with the same care and attention you’d expect during peak hours. The team clearly takes pride in their work and customer service, no matter the time of day. It’s rare to see that level of hospitality so close to closing, and it didn’t go unnoticed.

“My favorite steak in town…. “Steak au Poivre” can be found at this great French restaurant (French not not haughty) in Wauwatosa. Favorite steak as it tastes great, and presented well. Sliced on an angle and sauced with a red wine black peppercorn reduction, it has just enough char on the outside to balance the medium rare I love inside. Along with taste, I love that it comes with my fav vegetables-haricot vertes and absolutely perfect French fries! So unlike popular steak restaurants, at LaReve you get more than just meat for the list price! Yum + Yay! The desserts? They are as gorgeous as they are delicious! The case is filled with sweet perfection, each one more beautiful than the next! Just so hard to pick which on.! And the macrons are iconic-crisp outside and soft chewy inside, take a few home with you! But what a treat to find a Kir Royale on the menu last night at dinner before a show! I’m sure it’s a direct effect of Emily in Paris Season 3, but maybe I just never noticed it on the menu before! I served these for Christmas ten years ago and when I saw Emily working on an ad campaign, I just knew they’d start to show up on menus soon. Lucky me! Bon Appetite! This place is great for a girls lunch or business lunch, A friends dinner or date night!“

“My friend, Margaret, introduced me to Hillside. Great place to meet and catch up with friends and family. We went for the delicious, specialty coffee, but were more than tempted to see the yummy pastries available. They also have homemade breakfast sandwiches for sale. Staff has always been more than accommodating whether they're at the counter or as Barista. Also, look forward to their Cinnamon Rolls available only on Sundays. Rose, the owner, and former baker, has hit a home run with this place. She's sweet as a peach and her shop is very warm and welcoming. You'll find beautiful, hand crafted and delicate pastries to go with your fabulous coffee. Love this place and hope it's part of Oak Creek for a long time to come.“

“We were lucky enough to get in this restaurant tonight. This food was sooooo good! Serbian stuffed peppers, probably the best I've ever had! We also had Sarma, Raznjici and Chevapchichi. If you go to Milwaukee, eat here!!!! (but definitely make a reservation!) This was seriously one of the best restaurants I've been to in awhile. And our server (Tanya) was so helpful and friendly, we will definitely be back next time we are in town.“

“Lakefront Brewery is a great spot to grab a beer and munch on some cheese curds! They have a vast selection of their own beers, and you even have the option to take a brewery tour (for an additional cost).
If you’re looking for table service, be sure to make a reservation ahead of time if you’re planning to go during a busy time like Friday dinner. While there weren’t any open tables when we arrived, we had no problem ordering beers and cheese curds from the bar and sitting at the chairs overlooking the river.

“We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. We had s’mores shooters, strawberry shortcake shooters, lemon bars, salted caramel tarts, snickerdoodle cookies and macarons. We would definitely recommend the Greige Patisserie to future couples. “5 ⭐️ Can’t believe we finally got around to trying Miss Molly’s this past Sunday. It’s only a ten minute walk from our house. To say the least, we were very pleased! Tried a number of different breakfast items (including French toast, yogurt/fruit, breakfast sandwiches and muffins). Each one was delicious. Service was friendly and quick for how busy they were. All in all a great experience.“

“I called another bakery (not National Bakery) that’s on Greenfield in West Allis, wanted to order a cake for the following week. The lady on the phone wasn’t very nice and told me I had to order online then put me on hold forever. So I hung up and called National Bakery. Boy am I glad I did. The lady that answered was so nice and so helpful. I got the most beautiful and delicious cake I’ve ever had. Really made my birthday special. National Bakery is my go-to bakery from now on. “Brim Cafe and Catering is truly an all-star and gem of the Milwaukee Area. They have graciously donated to Children's Wisconsin's Miracle Marathon the past few years, and made sure dietary needs are met in a delicious and incredible way! The Mediterranean Catering menu is a true highlight, offering incredible flavor! Pair that with the incredible service Brim provides, and it turns into a match made in heaven! I cannot recommend enough!!“

“I took my dad out here for Father's Day at his request. We had a very nice time. The beer selection was lovely. The lady at the bar was very nice. I think for a chill summer Sunday afternoon on the outdoor patio, it was really sweet. It's true the bathrooms are co-ed but I had encountered this in Frankfurt Germany so I wasn't fazed, but the one I went in had 1 stall and a urinal outside the stall with no privacy so be prepared for that (I didn't see if you can lock the door once you're in there for more privacy).“
