“we drive an hour to eat here. the burgers are the best tasting beef to the point i asked where they get there beef from and i actually drove 1.5 hrs ro purchase some. i dont know the bar tender/waiters name but he is there everytime we drive there but he is fantastic and always smiles and hussles to accomadate his customers.Kid-friendliness: bar tender is awesome“

“This is a great live venue right across the bridge from Red Wing. Their pizza is FANTASTIC, I always try to pick some up when passing through. There is a lot of old Korean War memorabilia from the owner' time in the service. He has been running this place non-stop for almost fifty years and there are cool pictures posted from the 1920s or 1930s when his father ran the place. Full bar and a liquor store. There are slot machines inside and in the summer we saw a fireworks tent in the parking lot with a ton of things for sale. That alone makes it feel like you're definitely not in MN anymore, Toto.“

“Very small, but very nice. Went for live music and had a blast listening to a local band play. Even though the place was packed the two workers did a great job of taking care of everyone as fast as they could.Drinks were reasonably priced and had a great selection.I make a habit to never go back to the same place twice when visiting a new city, I would have no problems going back to Barrel House.“

“Crazy good pizza with the thinnest crust ever. Cheese all the way to the crust. Foldable, hangey slices but were cut as big squares.Young gal and guy working were very cordial with quick service. Will be stopping again every time we come home from Spring Creek MX Park. DON'T SLEEP ON THIS PLACE!“

“My, oh my, i really enjoyed my visit here. First time and everything was superb. I loved the beer and the pizzas.For beer we had — Cokins Bavarian Ale, and Remmler’s Royal Brew. Both beers are well made and quite tasty. The Remmler’s is made following a resurrected recipe from the Remmler’s Brewery, an original brewery of Red Wing.I had an 8” Seoul Food PizzaK-Mama sauce (authentic Korean hot sauce from Minneapolis, MN), mozzarella, chicken, shredded carrots, and celery.And my wife had an 8” Chicken Alfredo PizzaAlfredo sauce, mozzarella, diced chicken, and parsley.These specialty pizzas are $16.95 but they are very good and worth it. The crust is very good — medium-thin, crunchy, and very tasty. The cheese is 100% whole milk mozzarella and the sauces are either tomato sauce or garlic white.I plan to return.“

“We dined at Godfather’s Pizza in The Pottery Place Historic Center in Red Wing, MN for the first time in years. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they serve 12 inch GF pizzas! My son ate his way through the daily pizza lunch buffet! The restaurant was busy with locals (families, area workers on their lunch breaks and passerbys). The employees were kind, efficient and ambitious. The historic charm added to the enjoyment (ie. Informational signage, photographs of the past, brick interior, etc.). Lastly, the nostalgic pinball machine, video games and candy dispensers brought me back to my youth (1980-1990s). “Kellys Tap House is a gem of a place to go for you meals for sure. Wait Staff was very knowledgeable with their menu,and were,super friendly. Amazing meal of baked Haddock with grilled vegetable medley was also the best I've had ever! Wish I lived closer instead of 140 miles away. But I will be back next year!??“

“Fantastic visit, was shocked at the affordable prices after having spent a weekend in the city being gouged by every restaurant in sight. We got the omelette and a California burger, both were excellent and would highly recommend to anyone coming through.Vegetarian options: Although there are no clearly marked vegetarian options, the all-day breakfast is great for anyone not eating meat. I had the Veggie Lovers Omelette which has many mushrooms, peppers, and onions- along with a side of fries.“

“Pizzaliscious & the delivery time was faster than expected plus the driver was more than courteous and wished a happy festival of giving and thanks while at davids lodge of wonders. with tip my total was 35 for a large pep, small sausage & 6 cans of soder.... thats a darn good price for some Zza and Soder“
