“We happened upon this restaurant from a suggestion of an employee, it was a home run. The atmosphere was very friendly, the service was top notch. The prices were so great compared to other restaurants that you know just slap down frozen food and charge outrageous prices. Homemade, smash burgers were excellent, pasta was first rate and even Mac and cheese was not from a box. Find this place, and have a great time.“

“Exactly what I'd hope for in a bar and grill on the lake. Had the chicken strips and was very pleased with the flavor and quality. Sampled the beef french dip sandwich and was wonderfully surprised by the flavor and quality. Our menu questions were answered sincerely and promptly. Clean and quaint bar set up with friendly staff. Cools were singing along to the radio in the back. Only wish we could have stayed a bit longer.“

“We stayed at Deerfoot Resort to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday. Cabin 8 was roomy and we loved the screened in porch. The grounds and docks were beautifully maintained. Amanda and her staff were very warm and accommodating. A big THANKS to Jordan and Casey for helping us out with the rental boat! The lodge serves tasty burgers and the chicken salad sandwich was good too. It was the perfect week! Deerfoot Resort is a wonderful place to make family memories!“

“Stopped for a late lunch as we were driving by. Debated about the special for the day but sounded like too much food for me (could have shared). My son had the 1 pound Mighty Hurricane burger and I had the Somewhere Else Club. Both were very good but the side of fries were definitely not our favorite. The bar was pretty quiet as it was an odd time of day. The bartender was friendly and knew the locals as they came in. The locals were also friendly as we chatted at the bar.“

“The food is always good here. Try the Reuben if you're looking for a tasty treat and Reubens are your thing! They are terrific. The patio in the
summer lets you watch what's going on outside and allows you to soak up some sun!! Try some local angry minnow beer while you're there they generally have some on tap! It can be busy depending on when you stop. Off season you can walk right in.“
