We love food and we love travel and this was the best restaurant and people we have ever been to; consistently wonderful. We bought land in the area because we figured we would be at Fireside most weekends. I am so sorry to hear you have closed. I hope you do well in the future.
Excellent Northwoods lodge vibe crossed with gourmet cuisine. Had a traditional Belgian dish that was perfectly executed. A welcome surprise and worth a detour. Appreciate that one can have a beer at a very reasonable price or try a wine pairing suggestion.

Was looking for a place to grab a burger for lunch while in Montello for work. Glad I gave this place a try. The burger was cooked perfectly (a bit under seasoned). Will definitely stop again when I am in town.
