“Last night I decided to go to The Black Otter for take out. I got the deep fried haddock. The portions were big which was nice. The fillets were flaky and melted in your mouth. Hands down the best fish I’ve had in a while anywhere. Very impressed. Thank you for the awesome food! Although I knew I wouldnt be disappointed anyway. It’s not my first time eating at Bob & Geri’s just has been awhile. Thanks Bob & Geri!“

“What a treat it was to eat and drink at the Chophouse this past week! The friendly staff catered to our meeds and wants with ease and professionalism. I found the restaurant to be clean and neatly appointed with a wonderful painting of Randall, the Cow, who really added a sense of home for me. The spicy strawberry margaritas were expertly crafted and so tasty, as was the huge pretzel and deep dried olives. If you are visiting the Appleton, WI area, I highly recommend eating at Wissota Chophouse located in the Cobblestone Hotel and Suites near the Appleton airport!“

“We got lucky stopping here for lunch! The warm, rustic ambience and the friendly welcoming we received was a nice reprieve from driving! For starters we ordered cheese curds - a Wisconsin must. And we were NOT disappointed! They were served piping hot with a light breading and ranch dressing. Our main was the day’s special, French Dip. It, too, was delicious. the beef was piled high and tender served on a sub roll with plenty of au jus. We were able to split it and have a full meal each. The bathrooms were immaculate. The Grill has a full bar with rotating draft specials, appetizers, sandwiches, pizza and main entrees all reasonably priced. We left to friendly goodbyes, satisfied stomachs and “please stop by again”. When in the area we will definitely be back.“
