The foods were flavorful and the spices vibrant. I have to mention the coffee. If you are a coffee drinker, then you are about to be ruined for all other coffee. It was smooth and rich. Reminded me of French press but better. The prices are reasonable and fits into any budget. The owner explained how each dish was best eaten and shared a charming story about how his mother's cooking influenced the restaurant's menu. I have never felt so welcome and at home in a restaurant. Very popular, could use an expansion had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. Very comfortable. They've got a bar area and an all you can eat buffet area as well.“

Starters were absolutely delicious. Main course for me was the Jurassic Pork with a side of French onion soup. One of the other gents with me had the Chicken Cordon Bleu with a side of shrimp. We decided to split our meals to get a little more variety. Pork chop was ginormous. Fully cooked and tender. I found a tad tad bit of pink but rolled the dice anyway cause it looked cooked well enough to me. Had great flavors and was very filling. So prior to digging in I cut a good piece of the chop and shared with my buddy. He gave me some of his CCB w/ shrimp. I thought I had a pic of the CCB but apparently not. Well served plate. It was even more delicious than the pork chop....there will definitely be a revisit of in the area.“

“Husband wanted to find a good fish fry in Appleton. I saw ads for dairyland so suggested it. We came in for a fish fry. Husband had perch I had haddock. We also ordered an appetizer. Well first thing our meal came out and we had to ask for the appetizer we had ordered. Husband liked his perch and loved the potato puffs. The haddock was ok but I also enjoyed the potato puffs. Did enjoy the appetizer when we finally got it. Waitress came with bill and then asked if we wanted dessert. I found this backwards too. Meal before appetizer and bill before asking if we wanted anything else. Is this the way restaurants being run now? Or am I just old fashioned.“

“Great atmosphere and music. The music was at a good volume. As soon as we got there we were seated, and not long after, our order was taken. The food came at a very reasonable time, and tasted delicious; I had a fajita. Once we were done eating, the waiter quickly got boxes for us, and dished the food into the boxes as well as bagging them himself. The waiter seemed very aware of what was going on around the restaurant, and didn't even need to ask us how many boxes we needed, instead surveyed the table and how much food was still on it, and then proceeded to act accordingly getting us the right number of boxes.Unfortunately it is not the case for many places, so props to them for cleaning their menus!The food costed around $12-$18 per person, excluding drinks(which were also a fair price).“
