“Absolutely amazing first experience. My wife and I had an early dinner there. We had the crab cakes and calamari ( today's daily appetizer special) as appetizer. Absolutely incredible. Great sauces and flavor combinations. Layers of flavor. We ordered the ribeye and the crusted flounder ( another special). The ribeye was juicy, depths of flavor, tender. Topped with sautéed mushrooms and haystack onions. Cooked to perfection. And the au jus was spectacular and tied everything together so well. Au gratin potatoes were a perfect pairing. Even the carrots made you say "wow". The flounder was light and had great flavors. Homemade honey Dijon tartar was a perfect match for the flounder. Oddly enough, the cucumber and tomato salad that topped the fish really tied it all together and made for one amazing bite. Even though we were stuffed, we left just enough room to have dessert.. As someone who is not a dessert fan, their homemade peach cobbler pastry with homemade cinnamon ice cream ( another special) was fantastic. Katie, our server was extremely kind and attentive and her input on dishes was very much appreciated. The fact that the servers get to try daily specials, you can watch the chefs prepare the meal if you sit at the "bar" by the kitchen, and the laughter coming from the kitchen, really iced the cake! “We had dinner here for the first time in Sweetest Day. It’s been on our list of restaurants to try for some time, but we’re new parents. We enjoyed the spicy poloma margarita! One of the best cocktails I’ve ever had anywhere. Then we had the pretzel crusted cheese curds and jumbo wings as apps. There wasn’t anything jumbo about the wings, but both apps were good. I had the pork schnitzel with spatzel and my husband the pork belly topped burger with fries. Phenomenal!!! Our server, Heather, was super friendly, fast and complimentary. I’ll ask for her again next time!“

Shouting from the rooftops Hartford go visit Ichiban for fabulous meal. Eat fresh and healthy. Wonderful hibachi prepared meals and my husband has discovered he much prefers this freshly prepared hibachi over any Chinese restaurant food, the fried rice tastes so much better and the seared vegetables and meat is much better than the corn starched gravies and sauces often used in Chinese carry out.“

“A little pricey for what you get. $30 for a thin crust pie that clearly should be $17.
Don’t get me wrong the food is DELICIOUS. I eat here a lot.
Can’t bring my kids in to pick up pizza because they are usually playing hardcore rap on the radio. Takes a little hit on atmosphere for that.
My recommendation is the Garlic Chicken Ranch. Absolutely electric.“

“We went to Palmer‘s for the first time with my best friends family for her birthday. The service was great and the food and drinks were wonderful. One thing I wanted to recognize was how incredible our server Neil was. We oversaw the part on the bill where 20% gratuity was included in the total, so we had given double the tip. As we were leaving, Neil got our attention and let us know what we did and if it was a mistake. It would have been very easy to take the extra tip money and let us leave, but instead he was an honest person and brought it to our attention. We were very thankful and still gave him some extra money for the tip. I just wanted to recognize him and say thank you again. Great first experience.“

“Been here a couple times before. I think of this place as less a coffee shop, and more of a cafe (explained below). It's part of a small strip mall. There are some cafe tables out front, on the small sidewalk between parked cars and the front door. Inside there are a couple different rooms for seating. The first There a couple different areas for seating. Plenty of room for different size groups.

This time came with a friend for a hot beverage and pastry. There were several other table of people and one larger group. The noise level was good, perfect for a quiet conversation.

We like London Fogs (Earl Grey Tea Latte), it wasn't on the menu, but after explaining it, they did their best to make them. The bakery case was a little sparse, and they were sold out of a couple items. I like a good scone, and they had a Blueberry available.

They drink a pretty good job with the London Fogs (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam. Got them served in mugs which is also a nice touch. The Blueberry Scone were large and fresh. However, they were bit more like muffins (breadlike), and less like a traditional scone (shortbread, crumbly). There were plenty of fresh blueberries, but too much of a good thing, with some many that sank to the bottom, and making it wet.

Service was terrific. Super friendly with genuine warm smiles. Double checking with us on the recipe for the London Fog, and warming up the scones.

“This weekend my dad and I just wanted to pick up some food and eat at home. I suggested Chinese. Chinatown Kitchen is just down the road from my dad's house and this is the place my sister recommended. Good sized menu with typical fare. One of my favorites it Singapore Chow Mei Fun and this place had it, as all restaurants don't. This is my go to instead of rice and I get General Tsao chicken to go on top. The chow mei fun was spectacular with large chunks of chicken, shrimp and pork. As well as loaded with veggies. The Chicken was done very well and not overcooked. Exactly what I was looking for. My dad likes beef and seafood so I got him shrimp and beef scechuan Szechuan style. His meal was loaded as well. An order of crab Rangoon which was done nicely not overcooked and stuffed the yummy creamy crab filling. Overall the food was great. The service was outstanding and the price was fair.“

“We enjoy our experience each time we time we go. Great tasting food with specials! Venue is clean and neat. Staff-amazing! Love the atmosphere enough to drive 25 miles twice per week! They host a car show on Tuesday afternoons with hot dogs and hamburgers for sale. You can eat at the bar, at a table or outside in a small tiki type area! Today's nacho platter was amazing!

“Since moving to the Falls in 2012, I began looking for the best Chinese food in the area, almost stumbled upon Chens restaurant while picking up mail at the Post Office. Even though they no longer had an open dining room due to Covid protocols, I did take that chance and ordered takeout. Oh, what a happy day! The ordered items were not only hot, fresh and plentiful, they were truly delicious! The staff there led by Simon, have always been a joy to interact with always attentive, and cheerful. The prices are reasonable. Did I mention the food is DELICIOUS 😋 ?!?! Best Chinese restaurant in Waukesha county. Did I mention the food is DELICIOUS😋“

There was nothing available but the owner Greg graciously offered us succeeded at his table with his friends, which was just a wonderful, wonderful gesture that Not many people would ever do. We had a awesome manager Rachel. “Ordered take out last night from here for the first. Employee answered promtly. They said our huge order would take 20 minutes. I walked in right on time and everything was hot and ready for us. Prices were great, the establishment clean. The employees wore bright smiles, and they even gave us complimentary almond cookies. They were the freshest almond cookies I've ever had with Chinese take out. They did everything right and next time im in town, I won't call the other Chinese takeout locations that i usually do when in hartford/slinger get/jackson area. I'll be calling these fine folks“

“Sawmill is one of my all time favorite places to come after church. The food is always amazing, the holiday decor is wonderful and is always a great experience, until today... Unfortunately, the waitress "T" was absolutely awful, she was rude and should really find a new profession not dealing with people. I would hope it was just a bad day for her, but she ruined our experience. We have never left a $0 tip and that should tell management that she needs a chat. Still great food and atmosphere. We'll be back, but will not ever have her again! God Bless Oh and a different waitress had a packer shirt that says "I love it when he goes deep". I'm not a prude, but seriously so inappropriate for a restaurant to allow that!“

“Hands-down best crab rangoons. Always delicious food. Tried the orange chicken and beef & broccoli this time. We got 2 combo meals which was perfect for 2 of us.. plus just enough for lunch the next day!
