Shouting from the rooftops Hartford go visit Ichiban for fabulous meal. Eat fresh and healthy. Wonderful hibachi prepared meals and my husband has discovered he much prefers this freshly prepared hibachi over any Chinese restaurant food, the fried rice tastes so much better and the seared vegetables and meat is much better than the corn starched...read full review

Based on the reviews, Ichiban Japanese Sushi & Steak House is an incredible place with amazing, friendly, and attentive staff. The food is incredibly delicious, fresh, and great. Specific meals like the Tuna Tartare, sashimi appetizer, and the PACKER ROLL are highly recommended. Other rolls mentioned include the Mermaid, Hartford, Ichiban, Hot Maiki, Spider, and crab rolls. The service is amazing and on time, even when busy. The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and has nice decor with Japanese banners and lanterns. The price is not half bad. This spot is a favorite place for local sushi and is recommended for group events or couples.
