“My wife and I heard about willowdale through a friend and thought we give them a try for their Friday fish fry. We arrived earlier than their dinner serving hours and settled at the bar for an Old Fashioned which was excellent. We ordered our dinner at the bar and transferred to a table until the dinner service began. Our order easily followed to our table and was served by very friendly staff. We both ordered the beer batter cod with au gratin potatoes; the best of both we have had in quite some time. We had a fantastic experience; will definitely go again, and would recommend this Friday fare to anyone.“

“This place is more of a ode to the Korean war heroes and a museum than it is a bar. However, it has the feel of both. Not sure what's going to happen to the place as the owner has aged with the Rolex that surround the bar. But it is an experience that if you have time, you should definitely consider having. Time is limited, but then it always is.“

“I stopped in here on a late Monday evening. My first time in Janesville and it was for work, flight was late, nothing was open. SO happy I did! It’s a fun spot, very chill inside. I didn’t get to see the rooftop, which was a bummer (guess I have to go back!). Bartender was amazing, she cooked and served. Gave an excellent recommendation - their Buffalo chicken wrap and tots. It was heaven! They had a pool table, a dart board, and slots ? Hoghly recommend!“
