I always enjoy my dinners at Wissota. I went with a salad, soup, and an appetizer this time because I wasn't super hungry and it was the perfect amount of food. It was also a really good combination of flavors. The lobster bisque is rich and delicious and a nice size portion. I particularly like the Caesar salad topped with a parmesan crisp and high quality white anchovies. And the corn relish that comes with the crab cakes provides a nice textural contrast to well crisped...
We had the honey fig goat cheese and the field salad for starters then the sea bass and scallops with roasted asparagus as our main course. It was absolutely delicious!! The honey fig goat cheese was so decadent it would have been a great dessert. The salad was extremely fresh and light so amazing. Then there is the sea bass... Just wow! Perfectly seared and seasoned.. The best I've had in years and better than anywhere in this area!! Now for what brought it all together.....
