My grandpa Lyle Kanter would come here after collecting and crushing beer bottles in a small room behind the church. He invented a bottle smasher. He would have a beer and a shot of whiskey. I would have a soda and cashews. Early 90’s. He passed in 1995 at age 79.
Dave the owner made me one of the best whiskey sweet old fashions I've ever had. After he finished his shift Curtis was our bar tender and he was a riot. Just great people and a gem of an establishment. We will be back!!!
