“LOVE this restaurant. I wish it was there when I lived in the area 20 yrs ago. I still get there a few times a year. I really enjoy the blackened shrimp tacos. The service has always been wonderful and consistent. The manager stops by the table a QUICK check in. That small touch means so much!! Yesterday I had the lemon cake for dessert friend's had the gluten free chocolate cake. We were all in HEAVEN!! My second time there a couple years ago we had a server who was maybe having an off day. I talked to the manager on my way out & he was sincere & grateful I had let him know.“

“Wow! Went there for my 1st time last night & everything was absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is lovely & the staff are great!! Everyone is so friendly! We spoke to 5 of the 6 surrounding tables 💜 Between the 2 of us we had: saurkraut balls, oysters, French dip sandwich, French onion soup, fisherman's platter with garlic mashed & chocolate flourless cake = delicious!!! We reserved a room with one of the party packages, which included a ranch hand, pizza, ice cream, drinks, gift bags and arcade cards for each kid, and very accommodating staff. “This is one of my favorite restaurants in the Appleton area. However, I was disappointed with the front-desk folks’ lack of creative thinking and can-do attitude. When I called before arriving, I mentioned the number of people in my party and mentioned that I will also need a high chair. He said nothing available inside but patio is open and lots of seats are readily available. When we arrived, he was right, nobody was sitting in the patio. Bad news came after we were taken to our table, “sorry, we don’t have high chair available for at least another hour!” I understand that this may happen, but why do you tell me 5 mins before I arrive that you have everything available? Very disappointing, but this is even more disappointing when it comes from one of my favorite restaurants and I had guests with me.“

“The food was good, but wasn't worth the price. The steaks are overpriced because of the name. I think the worst part is you spend all that money and the only thing you get is a tiny house salad. For the amount of money you spend you should get standard side dishes. Good but grossly overpriced. It's a place you should go to once to say you have gone.“

“On a weekend getaway with family and stopped here for lunch. The buffet was fresh and such a variety! It was delicious! We also ordered margaritas, hands down the best I've had!“

My kiddos loved it and gave it INFINITY out of 1 😆 they said the food was FANTASTIC! This is also the only place in Appleton closed a little later on a Sunday that has pho on their menu as well. All other pho places are closed by 7pm.“

“Yesterday, our family came for a celebration of life at Stone Toad honoring my father in law. Naturally, this is a service no one anticipates needing, so I wasn’t sure how to handle the process or if anywhere local would be able to accommodate us on such a short notice. The events coordinator, Stacy, not only got back to me the same day I called; but helped us to navigate what would have otherwise been a stressful event. It was clear she has done this before, and offered her expertise and guidance from having handled this situation prior. She was quick to respond to emails and calls, and was transparent with pricing and Stone Toad’s policies. Not only was Stacy available for questions, but she was present the day of and oversaw the event personally, helping to bring food out to the serving station and collected plates and glasses while checking on guests. She also provided us with a Bluetooth speaker so we could play separate music from what was being played in the main bar area. The food was fresh and delicious.

Stone Toad was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The food and drink pricing were reasonable, and service was fast. This was the least stressful event I have ever been a part of, and that is due greatly to the staff at Stone Toad. Would highly recommend them for future events to anyone looking for an event venue!“

We have not had a meal that was not delightful, and the service is always top notch. If you have not visited, you should put it on your list. If you have been there you know what I’m talking about. We had our kids meal and four burgers in the familt bundle, but none of the toppings we paid...just patties and buns. missing the bacon, fried onions, tomatoes, lettuce, pivkles, everything. Then, maybe even worse, no fries!!! My husband calls immediately upon returning home and they tell him they can refund us $4 for the bacon I guess. Then he says he has to call us back later to take care of the refund. Of course, no call back. Now our burgers are ice cold and I'm forced to make food anyway. it was ridiculous. We had better get a refund or I will make sure more people hear about this experience. I mean, not even an apology for the mistake and inconvenience....“

The owners came out to talk to us and to all of the tables! Great to see owners so involved in their guest experience! They are new to the supper club scene and they say they are learning more every day. We will be back with family and friends. I can't wait to see what they will do as they grow in this business!
