“UPT is our go-to Friday night fish fry spot. We have tried all the menu items over the years since Angie became the owner, and you can't go wrong with any choice. Fish is dipped in a lighter batter that doesn't overwhelm the flaky meat. I believe you can also order a baked cod entree. Shrimp are huge and are breaded. The extra large walleye filet with onion rings is my fave. It is voted #1 fish fry in Kenosha county for good reason!“

“There’s a meat raffle at 3 PM sound quality of the football game is fantastic. The guy got hurt and we’re still waiting to see if he’s OK the drinks are fairly priced and the Philly cheesesteak looks delicious. Also the pretzels come with cream cheese, which is unique based on my experience with pretzels, I haven’t seen cream cheese available, much jalapeños, couldn’t be spicier, which is a good thing, there are rats on the windows don’t worry they’re not real clean very well. There’s a guy named Kinney who shoots pool either on Tuesdays or Fridays. He’s gonna be here next week Friday next week. He’s an offensive player he does it cheap plenty of parking.“

The Friday night bartender Tonya is super friendly, makes everyone feel welcome (even us out-of-towners!) and knows your name and drink after your first visit - definitely has a cheers vibe which I love! That being said, all the patrons there are cool. no pool table, but there is a bean bag tossed game out back. u want a fun night, no drama, and you're not a dramatic person yourself. “Friendly fun small town feeling bar. My daughter and I were in town visiting family after the Jelly Roll concert Friday night. We all walked over to Cheers. I instantly felt welcome, and like I walked into my favorite local bar. Great drinks with great people. When good songs are played, the whole bar sings. It's definitely a place to visit again.“

“Went for lunch with a customer. Atmosphere was awesome. Very chill. Wings were top notch. Cheese curds were top notch. Service was good. However the price we paid for a pint glass of beer was ridiculous. A pint of Ninja vs Unicorn by Pipeworks was just over $12. That to me was just insane. I would go back for sure but only order soda from now on.“

“This was a happy accident 😂 I thought I had made a reservation at a different restaurant, but found out I was wrong when that restaurant didn't have our reservation. We made it to The Boathouse and were very happy with my error! The vibe was energetic and chill at the same time. Our server was amazing! 5 in our party-We had the pretzel bites and cheese curd apps. Both were very good, cheese curds were unlike anything we've had-all were perfect squares with a very light batter-unique and delicious! 3 people had the fish fry-generous portions! The other 2 had a burger and shrimp po'boy-very good with a lil kick. We are in Kenosha sporadically and this will be our go to spot!“

“Place is an oxymoron. We had the most incredible filets- cut like butter. One medium and the other medium rare, just as we ordered. Then the desert came. Tacky costco brand individual terimisu. I wouldn’t recommend any of their desserts, ever. I’ve tried them all over the years. Aside from desserts, every plate is wonderful. Fall menu came out last week- my dog and I are really missing the smoked pork chop. Pet friendly patio with cover from the elements.“

“If you’re passing through the Kenosha area jump off I-94 at Highway 50 and visit Uncle Mike’s. The 1.5 pound hit pretzel is awesome -but very filling. 86 beers on tap! Really great vibe. Uncle Mike’s is my new stopping place when passing through.“
