“There is nothing about this place I don't recommend. The meads are amazing, their Cocktail Master is amazing at coming up with unusual combinations, and is great fun to talk to. The music mix is great as well (but possibly because I'm old 😁)! Overall, the place is extremely welcoming, with a selection of games and sofas so you can sit and enjoy your drinks and socialize.“

“My husband had asked for a seat near the windows, so we could see the Waterpark. The host did everything she could to make sure we had one. Eric was our waiter, and he was so polite and patient with us. I had asked about the shrimp pasta and getting it without meat, and he informed me that a plain pasta is definitely available. It's just not on the menu. We also ordered the specialty drinks: the Firefly and the Stawberry Lemonade Vodka. They were delicious!“

“This was the best chilies ive ever been too food wise. I am a chilies enthusiast ever since 2023 when my girlfriend showed me the love for chilies. Ever since then I’ve many times. On a trip to six flags we decided to stop for lunch. They delivered. This was the best experience I’ve ever had here. Service was great food was amazing. I highly recommend.“

“My husband just brought home food from Fogcutter, and as usual the food is amazing!! the pizza is my favorite in all of Lake County. I literally day dream about those garlic green beans. And this was my first time trying the mashed potatoes, and no shocker, fantastic! Thank you for being the best!“

“Chicken strips were crunchy and juicy cooked to absolute perfection. I also ordered fries with cheese sauce and got an extra order for free with an order a wings . Was probably a mistake and I hope the other people that ordered them got theirs too because it’s freaking amazing. I could bath in this cheese sauce. If I had teeth I’d use it as tooth paste. 10/10 would recommend.“

“We got here for the post Polar Plunge free drink promotion. My friend and I received our free drink, and because the bartender, Bonnie, was attentive and sweet, we stayed for a couple more drinks and ordered some food. Cecilia handled every detail with warmth and professionalism—helping me find a photographer, musician, flowers, and balloons that made the evening shine. Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a beautifully paced five-course dinner, complete with honey-inspired cocktails (using our own honey!) and a honey mustard salad dressing the chef created just for us. The food, wine pairings, and service were all outstanding—friendly, polished, and perfectly timed. The place needs to at least have a sign that says firehouse! It just looks like a plain white house, my friends have had a hard time trying to find it.
At least paint a "Firehouse with fire trucks" or even better do huge flames 🔥 to make it stand out. It always looks like it is closed, empty and uninviting.“

“A spot found randomly while looking for lunch on a long bike ride from Chicago. Nashville hot chicken is VERY tasty, and the seasoned fries are excellent. Great spot for food and beer. Incredible bartending service by Tanya. Was a Saturday afternoon experience. Recommended!“
“We stopped in to listen to L & M EXPERIENCE. Have never been to this place. The bartender la were fantastic and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised how affordable their drinks were. I had to ask her was she sure of the cost before I paid her.
We will be back. They have a great pool room and their slot machines are in a separate room set up very nicely. My husband ordered a. Diet coke and he pulled his money out and they said Pop is free. That was also surprising.“

“While visiting family over Christmas, our group walked across the street to Charlie's because we noticed a lot of people going there. The place was packed with friendly, happy people. There was only one bartender and she hustled with intention, a smile and a great sense of humor. We played darts most of the time, but I couldn't help but notice the atmosphere. “First time visiting there and I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty lunch that I had. I had a veggie wrap which was delicious. Two other people had the veggie wrap and they liked it a lot as well, and somebody had a I think it was broasted chicken and that was devoured and somebody had a burger and that was cleaned up quickly. All seven of us who were there enjoyed our meals. Our server, whose name I unfortunately forgot, was very good and efficient without being intrusive. She was pleasant and ran everything very smoothly. She was young and blonde that's all I can say but she was very good. We were there Saturday the 28th at 11:30, in case the managers see this and want to do something nice for the server. The only reason the atmosphere was four stars is because as it got more crowded, naturally it became quite loud however that's to be expected with this type of restaurant. I will go again.“
