We had an unexpected cancelation of our Thanksgiving plans, and nothing much to eat at home. I remember reading that the Fireside was open and serving the traditional turkey dinner (among other nice offerings). I called at 4 pm, hoping, but not expecting we could get in. They were so nice and very willing to accommodate the 2 of us. First of all, the restaurant was beautiful, warm and cozy. Another great long-time Kenosha restaurant is leaving us. Their prime rib is killer. I have so many happy memories there. I had my wedding reception. Celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, and other festivities there.Get there while you can.

The fireside is a kenosha staple. If you are looking for a good Bloody Mary or a really good old fashioned then head on in. The bar is great it wraps around with a nice atmosphere. The food is very good, I have had the prime rib 3x recently and every time it is good. They sadly will be closing in June 2024 but until then enjoy.
