The only reason I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 is because I missed out. We tried several menu items (those cheese curds and the custard daaaang! Those were our favorites) that we loved, but they were out of a whole bunch of stuff that I really wanted to try. All the chili options and the sloppy Joe stuff. I mean, what I eventually settled on was a meatball sub that was delicious, but I think I went through 5 menu items first. Super kudos to the sweet girl behind the counter...
The girls working in the back were clearly working as hard and as fast as they could. There was a line out to Sherdian and they still held their cool with the guests inside and the pace of service. This local restaurant is definitely a staple in Kenosha...they've kind of been through hell and back in the last ten years and they still maintain delish hot food and an out of this world ice cream menu!
Been a patron for 20 years. All good things must come to an end. Used to be 5 stars. Now 3 stars is generous. Food quality has changed this year - seems everyone is cutting costs these days. Oh well. It was good run.
