I recently placed an order for 10 dozen doughnuts for my high school students. You know the stuff is good when EVERY SINGLE STUDENT'S eyes light up like Christmas morning when they see you brought Roeck's for them. This place is a true gem in our town.
I brought home some hard rolls after reading about them at the Smiling Moose but the real highlight was the muffins! Some of the best cream cheese berry muffins I have ever eaten. I will definitely be back and next time I'm trying the sourdough bread. It looked fantastic.

If you find yourself in Kiel, Roeck's Bakery is 100% a must. A staple of Kiel since the late 1800s, Roeck's Bakery is a fourth-generation family owned and run bakery. The bakery isn't large, however there is a plethora of baked goods to select from. They also give 50% off on day old baked goods. Roeck's Bakery supplies many restaurants in Kiel with their delicious baked goods. My nephew loves their loaves of wheat bread.
