What a wonderful place, food is great, service is great, the owners are fantastic. If you want a fun place to have drinks and food this is the place to go. The building is soooooooooo neat log cabin style with great decorations inside nice atmosphere. This is a place you need to visit.
We are somewhat local, live 15 miles away. Haven't stopped at the River Mill since last years flood - stopped on a Sunday night after a long tiring road trip. Had their prime rib sandwich special. It came with choice of potato and included, au jus, sour cream and horse radish sauce, all separate on the side. The meat was very flavorable, the hogy buns became soggy. Relaxed atmosphere, wonderful staff and the nicest owner. You can get there on a snowy day and watch tv, play pool, have a few drinks, soft drinks lol, and go home knowing this is one of the best places in LaValle to be.
