7/21/25 UPDATE from REGULAR LOCAL CUSTOMER. Got turned away due to having a ‘large catering order’ to deal with.
This is the 2nd time I have been given this excuse. Even told them just give me the quickest thing you can make. After a long shift I just need a little food and at 111:15pm there are not many choices available.
The new staff have no regard on how to retain regular customer.

“Small place, but everything was great. Food was made fast and delicious. First time I've ever gotten a chimichanga where a Mexican Restaurant put the sour cream and guacamole on top of it instead of the side. Friendly service. Sort of a hole in the wall place. You can walk by it and not realize its there, but once you do, its amazing. Great prices for quality and quantity of food. Will definitely be back again. Better than some other Mexican Restaurants that I have had in the past.“

“We come to Jose’s every time I’m up here in Baraboo. Sometimes more than once in a weekend. The manager Maria is the best. She always makes sure to say hello and make sure your food is good. Andrea is also on the top of our list of favorite waitresses. We go to their trucks to eat and the Jose’s in hochunk is the best. Highly recommend.“
