“came this evening for dinner and there wasn't much of a wait, but the younger blonde working the window was sat and ate her ice cream at her own pace ignoring customers and being very short with them was upsetting. she made fun of other customers when they walked away, didn't care to smile, and would walk away and not help customers with ketchup and sauces. the food is great but today's service was nothing short of horrible. I hope it was just an off day for her and it's not like this normally.”

“Outstanding chicken! Call ahead to make sure they are open, we stopped wanting to get some chicken to go and they were closed. Apparently they changed their hours with a note in the window but didn't update on website or social media.”

“Last night was my first time there. Went for our anniversary dinner. Prime rib was great but the garlic butter shrimp was Amazing!! That was the best shrimp we have ever had. Staff was very friendly. Clean and inviting. Will definitely go back. This may be our new anniversary dinner place.”

“What an awesome spot for almost any time of day! Grab a coffee drink in the morning, or perhaps a spiked coffee cocktail? Huge selection of craft beers for purchase as well as a great selection on tap. The drinks were made with great care and a bit of flare as you watch. All of the ones we tried were excellent! “Just updated their menu, great food hand-made to order not prepackaged, not burger "patties". The clam chowder is EXCELLENT. I haven't had a bad fish meal yet. Excellent flavor on each. Just tried the BBQ Bourbon Maple burger with sweet potato fries most recently - YUM! Due to the size of the place and the kitchen you WILL have a long wait on a Friday and sometimes a Saturday. Either be patient and expect it or go another night. They are one of the rare area places open on Monday night. Thursdays and Sundays are also great nights to go without a wait. Every place is packed on Friday around here and most cannot get the staff, space or kitchen capacity to meet it so don't complain or say you weren't expecting a wait that day. Glad to have this place reopened and offering some excellent seafood you can't find anywhere else.”

“An old fashioned diner with simple dishes at a fair price. Can’t say anything bad about the place. Waitresses were very friendly, answered questions with ease and checked back enough to make sure we had everything.
Seemed like lots of regulars and the staff was excited to see everyone and made them feel like family.
Food was good, homestyle and was prepared exactly as requested.
Coffee comes in a pitcher for the table so you never have to wait. A nice addition to the Northwoods town.”

“We stopped on our way home from Minocqua. Have driven past for many years and always noticed a lot of cars so had to stop and check it out for lunch. Felt like we were part of the locals. French onion soup was the best I have ever had. Will definitely stop again next trio to the northwoods.”

“In winter its pleasantly warm!. Small but charming. We go there for the FOOD and SERVICE! Fast, Hot incredible flavor and fresh produce. There is meat throughout the whole burrito!! Ask for your stake medium rare and they cook it perfect! Kitchen is open to view. It's CLEAN! They clearly take great pride in preparation! Salsa is very fresh and the chips are not stale! Haven't been in when we weren't treated with a smile!

Parking: Parking on 3 sides of the restaurant. There is two entrances to the restaurant on both sides of parking lot.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stair or bumps in the threshold and they have 2 handicap spaces. Plenty of isle room for a chair. Bathroom is on the small side and lighting is average, but handicap usable .”

“I absolutely love this place. There has been nothing that I have ordered that hasn't been excellent. Today I ordered Salmon with Curry sauce and rice. I can't think of the name of the dish, but man is it good. Their Thai Tea is great as well. If you haven't been, please go there and try it out. Everything is so fresh and fabulous.”

“Super cute, great food and coffee and nice outdoor area. NOTE, however that it’s not ideal for remote/laptop working. They will ask you to leave, and there aren’t many outlets available. Great for meeting up with a friend or grabbing lunch. If you’re looking for a local cafe from which to work, try Bottled Bean instead.”

“Fritz's has their process trimmed down and dialed in. The menu can fit on a post-it note, the grill is in view behind the bar, the prices are incredibly fair, and the service is friendly and attentive.

Most importantly, the burgers are simple and delicious.”
