“One of if not the best, BEST local restaurant around in years! Form it's super friendly staff to the most delectable, finger-licking, and succulent meals me, friends, and family have had in a long time. Now If you are within 100-200 miles from this place it is a must that you and your family go enjoy a mouth watering meal. The options they comes in a wide variety from the risky brisky (personal favorite of mine), a triple cheese burger, a chicken sandwich the list goes on. My little whipper snapper cousin loves their tater totes. He said "They are nice and crunchy on the outside but nice and soft in the inside". Now each time I introduce my friends to this fine establishment they are blown away by how tasty the food is. And yet to this day me, my friends, and family still reminisce about the unforgettable food that we consumed there about every month. Now I for sure got you foaming at the mouth now ready to enjoy THE BEST food around in years. Need I say more...?Parking: Very open. Plenty of room for any car size.“

“My sister and I were driving through Lone Rock to go to Oakwood Fruit Farm. We stopped here for lunch and the grilled chicken taco salad and the grilled chicken sandwich with swiss and mushroom were amazing!!! Great services, great prices and clean! Thank you and we will definitely be coming back! Can’t wait to try another item off the menu. Keep up the amazing work.“

“Sam's Diner is a quintessential old time airport diner full of local charm, local people and pilots from all over coming to have honestly good simple food at great prices. The people here are nice, fun and usually working their hardest to make sure you don't go hungry. We came out for a country drive and stumbled past a few weeks ago - and we're back and will come back. It's a bit off highway 14 but it's a simple drive out from Madison. Warning!... the blueberry pancakes are huge but delicious. Come out - and find a little local gem of a way-back style diner good for the family. PS - flyers beware - the owner knows how to feed you to make your plane too heavy for take-off after lunch!!“

“Probably one of the best damn fast food burgers I have had in a long time. I drove from Madison and it was well worth it. The meat was well seasoned and it was juicy! I was pleasantly surprised. The fried cheese curds were just right for me. Slight crunch with goey cheese. Only concern was the notice about nitrates in the water which was disclosed on the menu. However given my knowledge in this area they are taking precautions and this is a huge problem all over Wisconsin.“

“I love a good bookstore. And, the only thing better than a good bookstore is a good bookstore that has a good coffee shop. And, this has both. While the bookshop isn't huge, they have a good collection. We did manage to find a few to buy before leaving. And, their prices are reasonable. We really enjoyed the coffee shop. The coffee was good (I had an Americano). They also have a nice selection of pastries, and they have some that are both gluten and dairy free. That was a real plus. If we lived in the area, which we don't (we went up to see Taliesin), I would frequent Arcadia Books.“

“This is a no frills type of restaurant. Kind of a hometown cafe in the form of a resort restaurant. It has an ever so slightly uncomfortable atmosphere. The staff were helpful. The food was pretty good, but I wouldn't drive out here just for it. I did really enjoy the garlic parmesan fries.“

“We had a coupon for this location so we dropped by. It was better than I was expecting based on the reviews, we did have to wait a bit for our cement mixers and burger but the place was busy (as always for a culvers). The food / shake was better than I remembered. Just wish there were spoons for the shakes.“

“We dined at the Pub and Grill and had an amazing dining experience with staff member Jordan. As busy as it was, there was at least an hour and a half for food. Jordan still made sure our drinks were filled and kept us assured we were still being cared for. She was kind and attentive.Walkability: I am mildly handicapped and found it easy to manage.Food & drinks: Excellent“
