I overcame my initial wave of sadness at missing the Frequency and realized this place is great. Best place for beer on the square now. Lots of space for big groups as well (somehow this downtown location seems more spacious than the Atwood one).
Easily my favorite place in Madison. Great beer, great prices. Having 4oz pours allows me to try a lot of different things and not spend a ton of money. They just got their liquor license too, so now they’ve got liquor PLUS their usual 50 taps! Alex always treats us right and makes us feel like we’re family. Top notch service.
