Simply the best coffee in town
Coffee is coffee. Not out of this world.
But the location and the staff are fantastic! Will keep visiting again and again.
If they can add a speaker outdoor and play some music that would be awesome.

Cafe Domestique - Allen St. is a small cafe with a Scandinavian ambience and a chill atmosphere. The location and staff are fantastic, and the vibes are cozy and warm with many tables. The coffee is superb, with some saying it is the best coffee on the west side of Madison and the best in Madison. The shots are consistent, and the cold brew has an aftertaste of mild chocolate. Their syrups are homemade, with a favorite being the maple sea salt. The matcha latte was beautiful and vibrant but needed to be sifted and whisked more. The baked goods are from Bloom Bakery, including a sweet potato donut, and they have quiche from Pasteur & Plenty. The outdoor patio has fire pits and blankets and is dog friendly. It is a lovely place for studying, but it can get loud when busy. The drinks are great, and the staff is friendly, though one cold brew was bitter due to an isolated incident.
