We were very disappointed with our meal today. They have a new menu, so we were not aware of the changes to the sides and prices. When they brought the meal, I received a loaded bake potato. I said I did not order a loaded potato and received a snarl of an answer from our snarky waitress of...Well it's on the menu as loaded. When you order two sides, bake potatoes come as loaded. We make it a point to stop at Cracker Barrel as we travel. So, naturally, when we got to Madison, we stopped. What a disappointment! We were quickly seated, but then it was almost 20 minutes before our drinks arrived. Then, as my wife attempted to order, she was told item after item wasn’t available.
She settled for a side order and nibbling on my meal. My meal was okay with the exception of the hockey pucks that passed for cornbread.

👩🦳I love the unlimited biscuits and gravy, and the unlimited corn muffins. The ambiance with the fire and the lanterns on the tables is delightful. It's also nice being able to shop and look around after or before dining. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for old fashion experience. 💙💚
